I have 2 senior dogs, one of which is a Cavalier (Downton) and he is in congestive heart failure (chf). He takes Lasix as well as other medications. He needs to wear wraps while we are at work and at night. I use them on the other dog (Bear) as well.Downton tends to be drenched and has a strong urine smell. I tried using baby wipes, which by the way, do not work. I would give him quick bathes when he was really smelly. He does not like them, plus it’s hard on me to do this. And it gets messy.Downton loves butt rubs. Bear loves to be petted ALL the time. When I received these today, I wanted to give them a try. I gave Downton a couple of quick squirts; he was not thrilled. BUT, he loved it when I rubbed him down with the micro towel. I used the same towel to rub Bear, and he liked it.The smell is nice, not too strong.I also chose this brand because of the story behind the product.The 2 pack are plastic bottles. I hope they come out with refills with little to no plastics soon. I do not want to keep throwing these away as it is harmful to our environment. I will need to see if they are recyclable. One bottle and a refill would be ideal.I do plan on buying this again when it gets low.

Good For a Quick Freshening
Good product to quickly freshen a stinky dog but hardly replaces good ole soap and water – better than nothing for a water combative pooch. Also the scent is nice but fades quickly.

Performs as what is stated on the bottle
The first thing I did before I used this product was brush and remove undercoat. Doing that will remove dander, dirt and loose hair. The product itself actually does foam, which is a good thing. I used a microfiber cloth to work in the shampoo. I let it dry as instructed and then I groomed him by brushing. I found that this product does exactly what it says. Luca’s coat is soft, fluffy and smells great. The scent I purchased is mango. His coat feels as good as when I give him a bath. Would I use this product in place of a regular bath? No. My personal preference is to use this product in between baths. I do have to say I only bathe him every four months. But this is good for once a month to refresh his coat. I also groom him every day to keep his coat in shape. How much I used was 1/4 of the bottle. His coat, while it looks short, he has an undercoat. For dogs that have short hair you might use less. All in all, this is a great product. It would be very beneficial for a dog that can’t be bathed at a groomers because of health problems, such as arthritis or injury of some sort, or age.
