Great for volume-less thin hair
I have very thin hair that tends to go flat quickly, even after the best blowouts and professional styling. I decided to give this crimper a try, and Iâm happy to say it really delivers on volume! Itâs a great choice for adding that much-needed lift to thin hair.That said, Iâm not sure what they mean by “extra shine.” Since the crimper is best used on the under layers of your hair to keep the crimped texture hidden, the shine isnât really a noticeable feature. But for what I neededâvolumeâit works perfectly.Overall, Iâm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone struggling with flat, thin hair. Just keep in mind its best use is for creating volume rather than a polished or shiny finish.

Great for root boost
I have very fine, thin hair and itâs a very short length. I have been looking at the rootie for volume which is way more expensive. I found this which has a much better price point. It gives me amazing volume and makes my hair look thicker and fuller. I only have to do about 5 to 6 sections which adds only a couple of mins to my styling time but creates so much difference in my look and style. Great price and quality. Highly recommend for fine hair ladies!

great to add volume, short cord
I am a hairstylist and I use this tool to add volume to updos. It works like a charm! I don’t have to spend as much time teasing and backcombing the hair. The only downside is that the cord is pretty short. Other than that, it is a great value for the price.

A few crimps close to th scalp and your hair just fluffs right up. Watch the video!!!!!!!! Really works great on “fine” hair. “This device is all it says it is. Great price too…..easy to use. Remember, “fine” hair refers to the texture…….not the “thickness.” People confuse the 2 terms. This crimper works great on both “fine” and “thin” hair to make it look more full.

Creates texture and volume
I bought this crimped based on reviews and even some photos, so Iâm adding my own. It really helps create volume, and the crimps lasted a whole week (until I washed and styled it again). It did not burn my hair at all, and is super easy to use. It did snag and pull some of my hair, but thatâs mostly because I was being chaotic with it.

Simple Hair Volume Hack that WORKS!
I was skeptical about using a crimper for hair volume. Iâm so glad to be wrong! I have very fine, straight hair. Iâve tried every product I can think of. In general, I try to minimize the number of chemicals I use in products. My hair is so limp, I probably wouldâve used anything to give it volume.I started using Bumble and Bumble Thickening Full Form Mousse the same time that I started with the Little Tease. After washing my hair, I add the mousse to my damp hair. After I dry my hair, it kind of has the texture of hair thatâs been sprayed with hairspray then brushed through, so it gives me a little bit of stiffness that I think works really well with the crimping, without making me look like I have huge hair. I donât find it sticky at all, and I think it works really well with the crimper.(Photos show before using the Little Tease and after. I had already dried my hair with the BB Mousse in the first pic. Third pic shows how I crimp it.) In the after pic, Iâve also flat-ironed the ends of my hair.The Bed Head Little Tease is so easy to use! I use alligator clips to hold back the top layer of hair and crimp 2 to 3 layers underneath on both sides of my part. I donât do this under the hair on the very front of my head, because it would show around my face. It takes less than five minutes to do this.I actually like my hair now! It was damp this morning and I went out in it without an umbrella. My hair had no idea ð. It didnât get frizzy or a limp. I think the combination of the product with the crimping helped with humidity as well.For the price that you would spend on one salon quality volumizing product, the little tease is so worth buying if your hair is fine and limp like mine. Some people complained about the plates not fitting together well. I find if I clamp the crimper closed with my other hand, the plates do seem to kind of shift until they come together, but I donât know why thatâs big deal. It doesnât affect the machine working at all.Iâm glad I didnât spend a bunch money on the other hair crimper that is supposed to be for volume. This works great for 20 bucks!

Using crimping to add fullness to fine hair. Works really well , heats quickly. Able to avoid curling iron. Love small size especially. Easy to handle. Don’t forget to spray crimped sections. They will last all day.
