After having two kids in two years and taking no care for myself I decided that I was going to change that. I of course suffered from some melasma or skin darkening from my lovely pregnancies and sun in general so i needed products that were great for aging and skin lightening. I did tons of research and attempted to find the best products that were effective but also would not break the bank. I came upon this company and fell in love with their quality and price point. After only using this product for a few short weeks I was amazed the progress my skin had made for not being as prescription skin product. I will continue to use this product and cant recommend it enough. Its definitely gentle and simple.

Great cleanser! A little dab goes a long way
I love that this cleanser makes me feel clean without making my skin feel tight or dry. A small dime sized amount is enough to do my whole face and neck which is astounding! I also have very sensitive skin and perfumes and certain ingredients seem to make me break out, however, this cleanser doesn’t have strong perfumes and has yet to cause a breakout so far! At this point I’ve been using it twice a day for a couple weeks and my skin has reacted beautifully the change in routine (which normally doesn’t happen).For how far a little dab goes compared to other cleansers, I’d say the value is very much worth it’s price. The bottle is also very aesthetically pleasing which is nice if you keep your skin care routine on shelves or on the counter.

I have come to love this for when I use sunscreen
Update: I stopped double cleansing when I wear sunscreen and used just this by itself and it does so lovely on my skin! The problem I had was not only when I double cleanse my skin doesn’t like that so instead I cleanse with BOJ balm or this gel cleanser and then use a toner to make sure everything is removed. But the other problem was when I used it with the water too warm and it flared my rosacea. For the last few evenings I’ve used this without any other cleanser and lukewarm or cool water and my skin does so much better. Just love BOJ!—Original review —I don’t use this BOJ Green Plum cleanser every day. This is only for those occasions when I double cleanse after wearing a particularly heavy SPF sunscreen, or maybe if I wear makeup (which is rare since I work remotely).It’s a little drying for my dry aging skin. If you have more oily skin, you may love this. I am biased to Beauty of Joseon products, so basically they can do no wrong – lol – but this isn’t my favorite cleanser since it is a little drying. Though they do indicate it is ‘pore cleansing’ so that should have been my clue!I love BOJ ginseng oil based cleanser. And their cleansing balm. Those are my go-tos. I use the oil based cleanser every day. I’ll use the balm as the first step in double cleansing or use it on its own for makeup or SPF removal.I won’t reorder this but it’s not because it is not a great cleanser, it’s just not for my aging rosacea-prone skin type.

Best facial cleanser I’ve used!
I have combination skin and this has been my savior. Usually cleansers irritate my skin really bad but this has been so gentle and effective I haven’t had any irritation while using it! It has left my skin super soft and doesn’t dry out my skin terribly when I use it. Will be purchasing again!
