THE BEST!!!
I cannot stress enough that this is the BEST sunless tanner out there. It comes out of the bottle a white lotion and goes on like a normal moisturizer. It is not sticky at all. It does have a sunless tanner odor, but to me, it isn’t terrible. It gives the most beautiful color and does not look orange at all. I apply this daily at first, but when color is established, I can use every other day or every 2 days depending on desired color. It is gentle enough that I use it on my face as well with no breakouts or other issues. This is the only sunless tanner I will use now.

I will ONLY use this self tanner! It is the healthiest alternative and supports my non-toxic beauty product journey. I will stand by Beauty By Earth and continue to recommend their products. This self tanner is scentless, the texture is amazing, and the results are incredible. I am very pale and this product gave me the most beautiful bronze color, I am so happy! Please give this a go! You won’t be dissatisfied. My mother in law and sister in law love this brand too!

It Works!
So, I’ve never used a self-tanner, so I can’t really make comparisons. However, I asked my long-time skin care aesthetician who recommended this product for my up-coming vaca in Jamaica. She had tried many self-tanners and she liked this one best because apparently it doesn’t have as much odor as many do. It does have a slight scent, and I’m very anti-scent everything, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me. I followed directions and it works. I was worried about it staining clothes or sheets but so far I do not see any evidence of that. I waited 15 minutes after applying, as instructed, before putting on my old black cotton pjs. I’m happy to be able to arrive in Jamaica with a little color on my arms and legs.

Not the greatest
It looks kind of orange after putting on. Goes on thick, but let it dry into the skin and its ok, don’t keep rubbing it. My legs were the ones that looked the best, and I did it for an evening out, so I looked like tan legs, not too orange. However, after a couple days, my forearms, the insides of my arms looked like crackled skin. Its only been on a few days and this is what happens. I’ll have to see if I continue to put it on every other day if this will happen or not. Stains the hands pretty quickly, so wear gloves during application. I read that it looks better if you reapply daily or every other day for coloring, which I did find to be true the first couple days. But 2 days later after not applying is when the crackling and separation began. This was my first time trying, so I’ll give it a little more time and see if I only do one application on the arms if there is still crackling or not. I have my hopes up as I did like the look of my legs. I’ll have to come back with a photo of them. The attached photos are my forearms.

So I just finished my first tube of this stuff. Definitely the best I’ve used in a long time.The good:- Solid colour- Long as applied properly, very little streaking. Back of hands are pretty difficult though. Doesn’t matter how little I put, I always get some buildup.The bad:- Although colour is good, it doesn’t last long. I’d say a max of two days before it’s more or less noticeably faded. Starts to fade in as little as one shower.- You have to use a lot. As I’ve seen in other reviews, you do need a lot of the stuff per application.- Price. The price is pretty steep. Looking at my orders, it took me three weeks to go through this and I wasn’t even using it on my legs. You can go through really quick. At $45 per order, this could easily cost you $600+ a year.I could see myself ordering again, but probably not on a regular basis due to price/speed you go through it.Edit: I was contacted by their customer support and given a refund. Great customer service. I bumped up my review from 3 to 4 stars. They did not ask me to do this, I just appreciate the generous refund!

This is by far the BEST self tanning lotion I’ve ever used. No awful smell and it works very very well and gives a very natural golden tan, even after one or two applications!
