Good for warm hair treatment
This stuff is pretty nice for a warm oil hair treatment. It comes out solid so itâs easy to work with. As stated in the listing, it smells like coffee. The smell is actually rather strong, so I donât think I could handle it for overnight or as any kind of leave-in. What I did was work it through my hair and into the scalp, then use a hairdryer set to medium and a dryer hood to warm everything up. After that I covered it in a shower cap and waited about 30 minutes. My hair felt softer and my scalp felt moisturized after, but I definitely needed a shampoo.It says itâs just plain palm oil, but it also says external use only, which gives me pause. Regular palm oil is edible, so what is in this stuff that we are putting on our skin? Also- I doubt the claims about it stimulating hair growth, and the before/after pics. The best this could possible do would be to prevent breakage, but itâs not going to be a remedy for actual hair loss at the root. Itâs nice as a hair treatment, but donât expect a miracle.
