So far pretty good stuff!
I have only used it a few times since buying it. But so far itâs a pretty nice hair oil. I have damaged, but thick, dry, wavy, frizzy hair so I was looking for something to help reduce the frizz, repair some damage to the ends, and also nourish my hair and scalp and keep it hydrated. This fit the bill and Iâm not afraid to use oils in my hair as it is the most natural form of protection as it closely resembles the natural oils that the scalp creates. The thing that drew me to it was the natural ingredients and no silicones to make my hair artificially soft that causes buildup and actually ruins your hair in the long run. The thing I read in reviews a lot as a common complaint is that itâs too heavy. Since I have thick, dry, wavy hair I personally donât feel itâs too heavy, but I have a lot more hair that is able to handle the oil. I donât think this would be a great option for people with thin, straight, and already oily hair. The other thing I think is a common issue is that people are using way too much. Like Iâve said I have a lot of hair and it goes down to my waist. I only use less than one full squirt. I also use this with hairfinity rice water spray. And I only apply it when my hair is pretty wet right out the shower. But First I use the hairfinity spray and work that in pretty well, then the oil. I will then brush I through my hair until itâs all evenly distributed, and then wrap my hair in a towel to dry a bit. Doing that will also remove some of the excess oil (and excess rice water spray) leaving behind what your hair actually needs. I think also by doing it that way it keeps my hair warm and allows the strands more time to absorb the oils. I will then allow it to air dry, not blow dry. I just did that routine tonight and my hair feels super soft, hydrated, and I can brush through it without getting snags (which is usually a big problem with my hair). As of right now I feel this is a good product and it will go a long way with how little of it that you actually need to use. I will update my review if I have any issues with it once I use it for longer.

Smells really good and this is the best solution Iâve found to help with dry scalp pain. With the right amount Iâve even mostly replaced any gels, waxes and creams I previously used to style my hair and keep it from frizzing out like the famous Einstein hairdo. Hair seems to absorb it well and not look too oily as long as I donât use an excessive amount at once.

Use it in the shower and comb it through. Helps with tangles, frizz and shine.
Can’t live without this stuff. Bought it at a co-op a few years ago and I have been hooked since. I put a little on after shampoo and conditioner then use a shower/curly brush to get it through my hair when it’s really wet.

Itâs ok, but probably hair-type specific
I was hopeful this oil would give me the deep conditioning the lower half of my hair seems to need. I only apply it to the last 1/4 of my hair for dry ends, however while it absorbs well initially, I noticed about 8-12 hours later the hair at my scalp is super oily. I donât think Iâd purchase again. Itâs just not working for my hair type.

Too thin of a product
Iâm a licensed hairstylist of 15 years who has been on the search for a toxin free hair oil replacement of MoroccanOil. I had high hopes for this one but the viscosity is nowhere near the same and just ends up making my hair look oily despite being just washed.

Why Change the Formula????ð°
Oh, no! The original formula was a five-star winner! I loved it. Very effective, non-sticky, smelled wonderful. Original ingredients: “Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Organic Baobab Oil, Organic Orange Oil, Organic Bergamot Oil, Organic Sandalwood Oil, Organic Ylang Ylang Oil, and Sunflower Vitamin E.”Now the main ingredient is coconut oil, and the entire list of ingredients is different. When the original was so wonderful, why this unfortunate change?

I like this product. It really shines my long hair and keeps from getting split ends because it’s a good leave-on moisturizer too. Only negative – you really, really have to use just a small squirt and work it evenly through the hair. If you don’t use a small amount, your hair will get greasy pretty fast.

This just seems to leave my hair looking oily all of the time no matter how I adjust my use of it. I tried using the least amount possible and it still resulted in very limp looking hair. If you have particularly fine hair I would not recommend.

This oil syrum for the hair its extremely bad. when you put it on your hair it lumps your hair. whether your curl, blow dry, your hair is lumped together as if it’s greasy. DONT BUY IT
