Well, I’m impressed! I decided to give this product a whirl based on the reviews and the ridiculously low price. I’m so very pleased that I did!It arrived sooner than expected, and the packaging was adequate. I decided to whip some up and apply it immediately upon delivery. I chose to mix it with raw apple cider vinegar, and I tried the plastic baggie method described by a couple other reviewers. This method works wonderfully, and I’m grateful for the tip, so Thank You. 🙂 I absolutely recommend this method. Quick, easy, non-messy, nothing to have to clean up, and since I accidentally mixed more than I needed, I simply sealed the baggie and tucked it away in the fridge for another day (after warning my Bunny that it was skin masque, not putrified spinach! LOL).Honestly, I didn’t expect much more than the instant-yet-unlasting results I’d gotten after using different types of “mud masques” from other manufacturers. Boy, was I wrong! This stuff is great. I could feel the tightening as it dried (I left it in place for about 20 minutes), and I definitely experienced the “tingle” as described. Other products provide the tightening effect simply because they’re drying, but what I dig about this clay is that the tightening effect didn’t cease after I rinsed it off. Nor did the tingle. It wasn’t uncomfortable…. It just felt like I’d actually gotten some tightening benefit. I like that. I also like that there is just one ingredient listed on the label, unlike some of the other aforementioned masques that I’ve tried.I removed this masque with hot water and a washcloth. It took a bit of effort, but there’s nothing wrong with a little extra exfoliation (I saturated a washcloth with hot water to turn the dried masque into “mud”again, laid said washcloth over my face, and allowed it to do its thing). As stated on the package, you may experience a wee bit of redness after using this product, but it’s no big deal and abates within minutes. I followed up with my usual serum… I was amazed at how quickly my skin sucked it in! After a second application of my serum, I topped it off with some tepezcohuite lotion, and my skin was glowing and soft as an infants arse! I’m a fan, for sure.Just a head’s up: a little goes a long way. It’s recommend on the jar to apply up to 1/2” layer of this stuff, but I was pleased with the results by applying about half that. After just two applications, I noticed that the pores on my nose actually appear smaller! It’s not like they’re gigantic to begin with, but they were large enough for me to notice (but, of course, we are our own worst critics). I believe that with continued use, I’ll only continue to reap benefits. My next project is to use this Aztec clay as a complete body masque. I’ve recently been taking some prescribed medications that my skin is desperately trying to cleanse from my body, so I’m experiencing some very “interesting” things in very “interesting” locations. I’m hoping that this clay will help aid my body at drawing out the toxins. I’ll let you know how my full-body masque goes.I absolutely recommend this product. It’s fantastic. Can’t go wrong with the price, either, nor the fact that it’s not loaded with chemicals that really have no place on/in your body. I’m sure it’ll take me a bit to get through the two pounds that I purchased, but I will definitely buy this again. Quick, easy, effective; safe to use several times a week. I don’t think I want to be without it.

This is one of my favorite products and a little goes a long ways. I mix equal parts product plus apple cider vinegar and use on my face, it is like a deep facial and always makes my skin so fresh and clean. I also use a little in my bath and notice how good my skin feels afterwards. It does harden and you have to wash off with wet cloth but the result is always amazing.

What an amazing product! Really is like a vacuum for your pores. It does leave your skin dry after but no blackheads! I also like it because although you can put it on thick it dries very quickly. So itâs not wiping off on everything while youâre wearing it.

Iâve been using this for years and it works wonders! It leaves your skin very soft but donât leave it on too long. Iâve used it with apple cider vinegar. But also works with water for more sensitive skin types.

She likes DIY facials so this is perfect as one of her ingredients.Pros: It’s a great price for the amount of clay. The amount of clay was actually more than expected, which is awesome. We love that it’s packed in a nice sturdy container, it just feels much more quality this way. She loves that it’s “calcium” bentonite clay, which apparently is more healing than sodium bentonite clay she says, and also harder to find for a decent price. After trying it out with just apple cider vinegar, our skin felt soft and looks brighter. Very refreshing feeling. Some of my acne seem to have calmed down and is less red. It’s been an hour now since I used the mask, and usually my face would be super oily by now – but it’s not after using the clay mask.Cons: We wish there was a seal on the inside of the container because when I opened it, clay powder started to spray and pour everywhere and around the rim of the container. It’s just a bit messy, but luckly its just clay so it’s easy to clean.Final thought: I recommend anyone with acne to try this product, especially people with oily skin like myself. It’s also great for those who are into DIY skincare stuff. The quality of this product is great and the price is amazing. I would buy again when this container runs out.

I use this a couple times a month mixed with apple cider vinegar to give my skin some detox. Also works well under your armpits [I even removed a cyst with this, sorry for the tmi but it works!]. I also used this mixed with water and dabbed with fake blood to quickly do zombie makeup on tons of people at a LARP. It worked, and cleared up lots of people’s acne. Flakes a bit, can be annoying to remove.

The product arrived in great condition and just as advertised! I’ve actually been using the Aztec Healing Clay for about 4 years, on and off. I was coming to the end of the 1 lb. tub that’s lasted me years so I decided to go for the bigger size this time. This stuff works like a dream! I have combination, acne-prone skin with the usual accompanying concerns – large pores, uneven texture, redness – and this clay works to combat them all. I mix it with apple cider vinegar and apply it to my T-zone, leaving it on for 15-20 minutes. I used to use it on my entire face but i found it too drying for my cheeks which are naturally on the drier side.As the mask dries, it gets quite stiff and you can feel your face pulsating. I like the sensation but some might not. It’s not easy to wash off but once it is, my skin is so soft and my pores are almost invisible. I use it once or twice a week and I find that works well. I’ve recently discovered that you shouldn’t let clay masks dry completely before washing them off as they can cause dehydration to the skin, so I’m going to start washing them off sooner.Try this mask if you haven’t, it’s amazing!!
