Helps but half of the bottleâs gone after 3 weeks
Iâve recently moved to another state and got awful dandruff due to different water. This shampoo helped with my dandruff. I canât say it helped to remove it completely but itâs much-much better. I was looking for a natural shampoo, the list of ingredients is not the best here but I compared many and I am ok with it. The only thing, this shampoo doesnât make a foam, so itâs hard to spread all over your head, for my long hair I have to use a lot. As a result, a half of the bottle was gone after 3 weeks of use. And I wash my hair only twice a week. 4 stars for that

Really good everyday shampoo
I’ve been using this shampoo for a couple of years, probably six or seven bottles now, and it’s great. My hair seems to keep a good balance of not too dry but also not oily, which most shampoos can’t pull off. The only caveat is that the anti-dandruff part isn’t the most effective, I still get a flake or two using it alone (I mix in some Head and Shoulders a couple of times every week), but certainly better than shampoos that are not meant for dandruff control. Overall great stuff and my most consistent Amazon purchase.

Beware of Quality Issues with Online Purchase
Iâve been using this product for several months and always purchased it in person from Whole Foods without any issues. However, this was my first time ordering it from Amazon, and something seemed off. The texture was different, and it made my scalp extremely itchy. After using it, my scalp, ears, and neck became very irritated. I stopped using it for a few days, switched to a different shampoo, and the irritation disappeared. To confirm, I tried this shampoo one more time, and the itchiness returned immediately. I recommend avoiding this seller and purchasing directly in-store instead.

Love… Love …. Love this company and their products not only is it great our environment ( no chemicals), its organic and feels great in my hair. Don’t feel I need to wash my hair every day because its just clean and beautiful.My husbands uses this one and I use the one for thicker hair. This one works great for dandruff. No more flakes! Great for the scalp!We had someone stay at our house while we were on vacation for 10 days.They used it and bragged about it too!Lol they put it on their wish list. I told her its very affordable no need to wait:)

Overall I really like this shampoo. The smell is great, kind of herbal and citrus-y. I bought this product to help combat my Seborrheic Dermatitis (If you are unfamiliar with this, look it up; this is the actual cause of my dandruff- not dry scalp).Update:It’s been over a year now, so I’m changing my review.I have been using “Generic Value Products: Tea Tree Oil Shampoo” as my regular shampoo and this product as a two or three times a week supplemental shampoo. The combination is excellent. It is now very rare for me to have a really bad dandruff day.I had been using Head & Shoulders ever since I was a kid, and although that got the flakes out, it never prevented nor reduced my dandruff from recurring. If I didn’t wash my hair for a few days, I had immediate dandruff again. Also when using H&S after an outbreak, my scalp would flake badly for another day afterwards. Now, my tea tree oil shampoo keeps things pretty tame and I use this Avalon Organics product to provide extra nourishment for my scalp two to three times per week.It took about two weeks for the shampoos to fully condition my scalp; but it’s been more than a year now and my regimen really does work for me.

Mostly good, one negative thought
Works surprisingly well! I usually have to use something packed with chemicals to get my scalp to stop itching and flaking. I didn’t mind the smell, it smells crazy while you’re in the shower, but actually smells pretty decent once your hair is dry. One negative thing is that it doesn’t lather very much, so you end up either having to use WAY more than normal shampoo or using another shampoo altogether to wash the rest of your hair.I have to use this for my scalp, then I use an Acure shampoo for the rest of my hair. To me, paying the extra money for two shampoos is worth it, but I can’t imagine most people would want to go that route.

I have dandruff but not an itchy scalp but have found this really works! I ran out of it and went off it for a couple of weeks and suddenly my dandruff increased by A LOT! Went straight back onto this and within one wash, it was drastically reduced! Definitely works!
