Cruelty-free face wash that works
I have oily skin that sometimes gets incredibly dry when the weather changes. I use this face wash year round. My skin gets clean. It’s effective in getting the grime and sunscreen off my face. The ingredients don’t contain any animal products which is always a win. It has a natural, pleasant scent. This is a good value considering it’s organic.

Reasonably priced organic face wash
This works great as a cleanser and feels nice on the skin. It smells like citrus and lathers well. It doesn’t irritate or dry out my (sensitive and often dry) skin. It is well worth the money, especially considering that it’s vegan and organic! Most organic cleansers cost more than this and you get less. Overall, I’m really glad I decided to try this product and I hope to try more products from Avalon in the future!!

Great product but give us back the pump please
Have been using this for years. My skin, at 68 years is pretty darn good. Love that it’s not overly drying but you feel like you have a thoroughly clean face after using. Would’ve given 10 stars but they took away the pump! Since this is gel-like in consistency, and the bottle is fairly hard, it’s a bit ridiculous trying to squeeze out the product. Really hope they listen to these reviews to address this.

Won’t Order It Again
I’m stuck looking for a new face wash, after the organic brand I’d used for more than a decade discontinued my favorite product. After searching high and low (and refusing to pay $40 for a few ounces of face wash), I tried Avalon’s Vitamin C Gel.Avalon named this product “organic,” but only some of the ingredients qualify. If you’re looking for toxin-free, look elsewhere. It also has an overly sweet citrus aroma.I should have realized this product would dry out my skin due to the alcohol content. I used it very sparingly because it seemed to suck the moisture from my skin. Still, I had to dab my face with sesame oil after washing to restore the natural feel.The search continues.

Good Cleanser
Works well. My face feels nice and clean after. A lot of cleansers make my face feel oily, but this doesn’t. Only downside is that it didn’t come with a pump. The bottle is hard to squeeze and I have a hard time getting a proper about out. Just a little bit of an annoyance.

Usually love this cleanser and was a repeat customer of Avalon products but always had a problem with how the cleanser bottle is never sealed. SO disappointed to have recieved mine today with nearly half the bottle emptied out into the bag. Please consider sealing your products well so people don’t waste their money. You’ve lost a loyal customer today.
