The independent A/B channel can work in different modes and different levels of intensities. EMS brings elicitation of muscle contraction using electrical impulses and activates the muscles to assist in the increase of strength and endurance as a rehab and strength training tool

    So far? Excellent!
I’m not going pretend to understand the science behind this product, but I’ve used it for a little while, and I’m comfortable speaking as to my personal experiences. It looks and works as you would expect. The unit is the size of a deck of cards, and it comes with four sets of wires, and some electrodes. The wires connect the electrodes to the unit. The electrodes stick on to your skin in a way that you have possibly experienced in a hospital or therapeutic setting. Just put a few drops of water on them and they adhere to skin nicely.Once you are hooked up, you have your choice of 24 settings for the type of treatment that you want, and then within that type, you can choose the strength of the treatment that you want. As other reviewers have mentioned, for being a small rechargeable unit, the higher settings are surprisingly powerful. So, what exactly are these treatments, and what do they do? How does it feel? The treatments work by transmitting an electrical current into your skin. The electricity stored in the unit travels through the wires into the electrodes, and into your skin. So, what’s good about that? The electricity doesn’t just go skin deep. It goes into the underlying muscles, and that’s where the magic happens. The electrical stimulation causes your muscles to have some activity. It can be just a tiny tingle, or a much stronger effect. I didn’t really entire believe that something small and rechargeable could have a big effect. However, at medium settings, the effect can be strong enough to make the muscles below the electrodes twitch, or even clench and contract. So, what’s that good for? Recently, I had one of those nasty bugs that caused me to cough so hard that I had sore muscles in my back, sides, and abdomen. I put the electrodes onto the affected areas and used a low setting. The little tingle that the electricity put into the sore muscles was very soothing, just the thing I like that I needed. It can handle other issues as well, such as keeping muscles from atrophy if they can’t be normally used. It can range from what feels like a gentle massage all the way to what feels like actually working the muscles.I ran it by my physical therapist, just to be safe, and she gave me the green light.I don’t want to promise you’ll have some sort of miracle, but I can honestly say that I am quite happy with my results so far. Just based on what I’ve experienced so far, if I tried this out at a friend’s house, I would have easily believed that this product could sell for $250-$350. Naturally, it feels to me like a bargain. I’m even willing to say that if I wasn’t one who steers clear of other people’s health (because I’m not a doctor), I’d recommend this to friends and family. I’m even considering breaking my own rule and giving one or two as a gift.So yeah, that all sounds too good to be true to me, and I’m the one who wrote it!TL; DR – I like this little gadget a lot!

Love it. Quality Unit, Nice Pads, Works great.
Simple to use. Charges quickly and is very effective. Works the same as the one my chiropractor has in his office. Can’t speak about the durability, only had a few days but the effectiveness is 10 stars. Tweeked my back over the holidays, I was misrable. After reading reviews on reddit and other sites, chose this unit. was lucky enough to get same day delivery from Amazon. Very happy with quality and power, unable to turn up more than 50 percent. You can do many treatments from one charge. I did a couple of treatments over 48 hours and Im feeling great. I ordered extra pads incase another family member wants to use but that said the pads that come with it are very nice.

    Impressive Device for the Price
I never make a purchase without first doing a TON of research. I found the Auvon TENS Unit EMS on multiple review sites and it received great reviews. The deciding factor for my purchase was the fact that this one has 4 outputs and can be used with up to 8 pads on 2 different channels…that way I can get pain relief in two different areas (neck and shoulder) by using different settings for each area. I have had neck/shoulder pain since an accident in 2009 and have had TENS/EMS treatment so many times at the physical therapists’ and chiropractors’ officers over the years and finally realized, with the encouragement of my doctor and PT, that it was time to have a home device. The Auvon is just as powerful as the devices that my providers use on me. Now I can use it anytime I need relief at home. Another reason I chose the Auvon is that it had great reviews for the adhesion of its pads, and those reviews were correct—it sticks quite well. I do make sure that I have cleaned off any gels or balms from the area where I am applying the pads to make them stick longer. I am also very impressed with the long battery life. I can use it multiple times before recharging. I like that the Auvon has a rechargeable battery and can be portable or plugged in, as needed. The one thing that I would change is the controls…a touch screen would make it so much easier to select the setting that I want quickly, but then it might not be such a great price, so the trade off is ok. I would prefer being able to toggle to the exact setting without having to go all the way through to the end of the settings and then starting all over from the top again. Overall, this is a powerful device with lots of great features that is simple to use. I would recommend to anyone who needs pain relief at home.

I have an issue with my shoulders, recently I blew the Right one to the point of pain around the clock and no relief. I have another brand of Tens but it wasn’t getting me the results, along with doing the exercises/therapy for Frozen Shoulder Syndrome. The price was good on Auvon Brand, this one and I went for the Replacement Pads as well, always like to have spares on hand, along with the Ultrasound Gel to get the best results.Features — Great that you can set everything up and hit the Lock button, if you are handling it or pick it up while using, it can’t change settings and leave you scrambling to get back to your choice.Great that it has the option for 4 Channels of relief and you can do both shoulders (like me) at the same time!Great that it has so many different preset programs AND you know if you are using it on TENS or EMS, Tens is better for pain in my experience, especially when the muscles are already contracted. One of my fave settings is very similar to an Acupuncture Treatment.Great little machine at an awesome price! I also purchased a Hard Cover Case to keep everything together.

Since having gone for physio years back when mine got injured and receiving this type of electro therapy, I’d been looking to buy something similar! I felt so good afterwards I just had to find one! Well my back has been feeling a bit tight lately so when I saw this for sale at such a low price I immediately ordered one!!…It’s compact about the size of an older iPhone so I can place the pads, choose a setting and slip it into my pocket and carry on.Does it work well,,, this morning I had stabbing pains in my lower back and this evening I don’t…For what I got I consider this a great value!…

I was advised to try a tens machine for lower back pain. I fairly often, about three or four times a year, seem to get a lower back muscle spasm that locks my back and I have to rest it for several days before I can bend over or sit comfortably again. I looked at several makes and than came across this Auvon model that seemed to be much cheaper than rivals but with just as much equipment and decent reviews and decided to try it.I just did my back again and I have only used it for a few days but it has made a significant impact on my back and seems to speed up the recover time. With a fixed menu and everything controlled by a couple of buttons, it is very easy to use. As I said, it is well equipped with leads and pads, charges direct from a USB port and the battery lasts well and seems to do the job!I can’t offer any view on the EMS side yet but it was a nice to have just in case.My only criticism would be the manual is scant on detail and I went to a youtube video to see where it would be best to place the electrodes, but I would probably have checked out a couple of videos anyway.Very Happy with my purchase.

For the things I like about it first: The size, it’s very compact, looks like a small cellphone in the hands. My previous unit was extremely long and cumbersome, so I’m really appreciating the smaller size. The screen is very clear and nice to read, some with vision problems might struggle to see the smaller “modes” selections, but I think overall it’s quite good. As someone who constantly accidentally shut off or changed programs when bumping my old TENS machine, I LOVE the lock button, it’s essential in a TENS machine for me going forward. The overall quality is quite good, feels well-built when holding, doesn’t feel like cheap plastic whatsoever. The pads and the cords are great, these pads STICK. I’ve had difficulty finding a good pad that doesn’t lift and zap me, these could double as waxing strips as far as I’m concerned, but I’d rather that than not sticky enough. Also the cords are of nice length, my old one had extremely long cords and it become so cumbersome, these are perfect. The time adjustment is nice, with a max of 90 minutes. Controls are easy to understand and use. As for the battery, it seems to be really good, I haven’t charged it in days of moderate use, I also really appreciate it has an internal battery at all, I was going through too many AAA in my last TENS unit. Lastly, it has a nice carrying pouch to prevent screen scratches when in your pockets and such. For the things I think could be improved: While it’s small size almost guarantees it will fit in your pocket among all your other daily items, a clip would be really nice to have. Perhaps I just need to adjust, but I miss my old TENS programs. I find these aren’t as varied, and many of them I cannot even tell the difference, I feel they could have added a lot more variation, that’s probably my biggest gripe. I also prefer using some of the TENS programs as EMS, as the EMS settings aren’t quite what I was looking for in terms of patterns. Even with this unit on full battery, I still feel my old TENS unit packed a far bigger punch, though with that said I think it’s still powerful enough, there just isn’t much overhead (I’ve also only used 2 cords at a time, so if you’re using all 4 cords it may lower the power of each pad even more).Overall, I think you’ll be quite happy with this unit as I have been. This company seems to be highly regarded and I think this unit will last for years to come.
