Fantastic!!!
I bought this tamanu oil in an attempt to treat the rash on my face that appears every now and again. I searched for âpsoriasis/excemaâ treatments and tamanu oil popped up, something I had no idea about. So I read the reviews which were awesome and decided to purchase it (another brand, a 1 ounce bottle for $15). Yes, itâs a strange greenish color and it initially has a very strong scent but this dissipates quickly. Nothing I had tried up to this point had made the slightest difference. So I applied the tamanu oil to the affected areas (3 small angry red flaky patches) at bedtime. The first morning, I definitely noticed that there was much less redness and when I washed my face, much of the flakiness disappeared. I used the tamanu oil every night for a week and the ârashâ totally disappeared. Then I read that itâs also amazing for scars and for smoothing texture. So Iâve been using it nightly even though the strange rash was gone. I used up the 1 ounce bottle in about a month but in the meantime, Iâd found this ArtNaturals 4 ounce size so I ordered it. Itâs just as amazing as the first one I tried and even though itâs a much larger bottle, it was actually less expensive. I will say that in tandem with the oil at night, Iâve been using a Chinese homeopathic cream for excema/psoriasis and that has made a big difference as well. I apply the cream after washing my face in the evening and let it soak in for a while and then just before bed, I apply the tamanu oil to my entire face, including the under eye area and eyelids (I have quite a bit of texture on the latter). Iâve been using tamanu oil for about 3 months and I can definitely see a difference in my skin. Itâs smoother, less oily but also well hydrated. When this strange rash appeared I stopped using Retin A, which I was applying every other night for more than a year. However, I noticed very little improvement in my skin. I now know that some people simply do not respond to this prescription medication and apparently Iâm one. Iâve been using rosehip oil around my eyes (including the lid) for almost 3 years and this area has improved so much itâs almost miraculous. Rosehip oil is also good for scars just like tamanu oil. And both oils are inexpensive but honestly the results have been much more impressive than Retin A or any of the extremely pricey creams Iâve tried. I do alternate between an AHA gel and the Laniege Sleeping Mask ($25 on Sephora) as the first step. Both are gels and dry very quickly and then I apply the tamanu and rosehip oils. This means that there are only 3 simple steps at night, which is great because Iâm often extremely tired in the evening, which is why I didnât bother to wash my face at night for a long time. But about 5 years ago I started devoting myself to nightly cleansing and trying to get my skin as healthy and glowing as possible. Yes, I fell for advertising and for some dermatologistâs expensive recommendations, but truthfully, Iâve had better results with the 2 gels and the 2 oils. Now my daughter in law is using tamanu oil too. She has very dry skin and some acne scars and Iâm hoping her results will be as good as mine are. Even though Iâve had oily skin for my entire life (Iâm close to 60 now), itâs now perfectly balance, thanks to the rosehip and tamanu oils. Now I can wear sheerer foundation and donât have to blot the oil/repowder every few hours. Even my husband noticed that my skin is much smoother with no redness and whatever the angry red flaky patches were, they have disappeared and have not returned.

One way or another something is wrong here
TL;DR… I bought the bottle of peppermint from “freshy and cool” and what I received is suspicious. I returned it and won’t buy again. Here’s my story…I’ve used ArtNaturals peppermint oil (and other ArtNaturals oils) in the 10mL bottle for a homemade hair rinse and loved it enough to buy this larger bottle. What I received wasn’t much like what others have described on here nor what I have enjoyed in the past. Here’s the evidence:1. The box once included two 10mL bottles of Zen and Chi blends, which were missing from the inside of the box. It does not match the box pictured here on Amazon but does match what others have received in the past.2. The bottle of peppermint was not sealed. I’ve had to remove seals on ArtNaturals products in the past, as have others in the comments here on Amazon have had to do the same.3. The outside of the box had any mention of the Zen and Chi blends covered up by hand-cut semi-transparent white stickers. It may be difficult to decipher from the photos but when the box is in hand you can read what is under the stickers.4. The “ingredients” portion of the box also had semi-transparent white stickers covering the contents, including the contents of the peppermint bottle. I could understand ArtNaturals’s decision to cover up the ingredients for the Zen and Chi bottles if they chose to recycle/reuse old packaging, but to cover up the ingredients for the peppermint, too? Such a cover-up suggests that the bottle I received does not include the original peppermint contents and someone is trying to cover up, as legally as possible, the new contents. Who knows what I really received.5. I’ve used this product before so I know how it should smell. The peppermint I’ve used in the past was potent enough to clear my sinuses and made my eyes water. The bottle I received smelled more like someone soaked spearmint candies in water. It is sweet, diluted, and not astringent at all.It is possible that “freshy and cool” is a legit reseller and that ArtNatural has changed their product and/or is using old packaging to ship out current product, but it seems equally/more plausible that I received a counterfeit product. I believe that freshy and cool is buying the product, separating the contents of a gift package for separate resales, and replacing or diluting the contents of the main bottle.I’ve emailed ArtNaturals explaining the situation and inviting their input. Despite receiving their, “we’ve received your plaint and will respond in 48-96 hour” auto-reply, my inbox and spam box remain empty a week later.Either way it is buyer beware with this product. I don’t trust it.Have you noticed a change in ArtNatural’s peppermint? Sound off in the comments. I don’t mean to disparage ArtNaturals or “freshy and cool” unless they truly deserve it. I love the 10mL bottle I have and want to support the product. This review is only to point out that the peppermint oil isn’t what it used to be, that you won’t receive what others have received, and thus the buyer should think twice about buying this product.

ArtNaturals is my favorite essential oil brand… by a mile. Look at their website, amazing quality! My favorite DIY perfume is made up of vanilla oil, this lemon oil & fractioned coconut oil. Smells like an amazing lemon meringue pie!!! Absolutely heavenly.Lemon oil is an awesome natural hair lightener (in the sun), great for household cleaning (mixed with vinegar or baking soda), great to freshen laundry (add a few drops to final rinse cycle), absolutely awesome in a diffuser to clean & deodorize the air (plus it smells amazing), to brighten your mood.. simply rub a few drops between your hands and inhale, natural antidepressant!*** TOP 1000 REVIEWER – IF THIS REVIEW WAS OF USE, PLEASE HIT “HELPFUL”..
