As good as I remember
Always use to buy this, but it became difficult to find the old perfect shave kits. So I bought the bottles individually and I love the new bottle, especially compared to the old amber glass one you could accidentally use too much of.

Love this stuff – thick and viscous
Love this stuff – thick and viscous, but great for getting a close shave with no irritation when paired with a shave cream (the Anthony product is also great for that). Personally I prefer it to the “ultimate shave” items (but happy to use those as well!).It is more expensive than ideal, but I’ve kept buying it over the years so don’t feel I can really deduct a point for that

Great wake up
The peppermint and eucalyptus combine to wake me up without being overpowering. I don’t feel like the oil is clogging anything, just softening the hairs and allowing my grandfather’s safety razor to glide smoothly without dragging on any of the contours of my face. I also feel like the oil helps the shave soap make a better lather, and helps soften the bristles of my shave brush. Great product!

Sure Softens my wiskers.
I do not have a beard and do not use this all of the time, but when I want a super close shave, I use it along with my Anthony’s shaving gel. I am just not sure how much I need to put on, but it has always worked well, regardless of the amount I use.
