I was searching for a thick, cushiony, yoga mat FOREVER when I finally landed on the Amazon Basic one. I love the pretty pink color, and for any 10$ (on prime day) itâs a steal for the quality mat you get. I know thereâs yoga mats that cost 20$+ and arenât as good quality as this. Thereâs a more ribbed side (for exercising on) and a smooth side which actually grips the floor really well. I like the strap that is comes with to carry on the go, and the thickness of this mat is a 10/10 (main reason for my five stars). The thickness makes doing any exercise on it SUPER comfortable, even on top of a hard gym floor, and itâs more than long enough for me (for reference Iâm 5â2â [just as in the photo^]). Also, the actual width of the yoga mat is nice but might be inadequate for someone who is bigger or taller, depending on what it will be used for. Itâs also comfy enough that my dog likes to lay on it. Still donât know about the long term quality, but it seems as though it will hold up just fine. Overall, 10/10 for this Amazon, great mat and for a great price!

Great for outdoors or older adults
Iâm a major fan of this mat! The thickness is perfect for my uneven back wood deck that also constantly has small rocks scattered all over it from my dogs running around. Iâve started morning meditations & stretching outside where the thin mats just werenât cutting it. The size is great, itâs nice & smooth as well as supportive. I appreciate it comes with the travel/storage band to help keep it rolled up makes it easy to just leave by my back door & carry out each morning :)My mom bought a normal yoga mat for stretching but felt like she was just on the ground super uncomfortable so I told her about this thicker one & now she is so much more comfortable while stretching!

Excellent, durable, and comfortable mat. User is 180 pounds and 6 feet in height. The cushion is thick and firm, so it’s an excellent on hard floor as a foundation for bridges and other body work.

This a great yoga/pilates mat. I had this mat in the past and it lasted a long time with very frequent use. My favorite of all the mats I have owned. High quality – It was still fine when I gave it away. So glad Amazon is still selling this.It has enough cushion to provide comfort for all exercises, but is also sturdy. Not too thick to take back and forth to the gym. It also has a good surface for grip for feet and hands.

Great as a dog training tool!
I ordered this yoga mat and cut it in half to use it as a portable place for my dog until we have the space for an indoor cot or KILMB. The benefit is I can also use this on the go like in dog training or when we go on training outings!So far though her nails have done some damage to it the mat has been very comfy and easy to clean if you’re using it for your pets. The size is fantastic so if you’d want to use this for yoga I’d say this works for almost all heights! It’s not very slippery but light enough to nudge with your feet if you need to. I can’t speak to the support but my dog likes laying on it vs the floor (especially in cooler periods) so it must be more comfortable. She eats up beds so I’m waiting for her to grow out of it to have a bed in the living room as she doesn’t sleep on the floor or her crate at night.As you can see her tail is going a mile a minute in the photo as she loves things for her and she loves being asked to do something if it makes her feel helpful! The photo was before i trimmed it in half but it’s still got a great space range for an amstaff mix that’s around 60 lbs even when cut in half if you want to use it as a crate mat or support/cushioning for a dog cot.Genuinely? I might actually buy this for myself to help with my knee injury exercises.
