Customers say
Customers find the nail drill easy to use, particularly for beginners, with helpful instructions and adjustable speed control that’s useful for working on both left and right sides. They consider it a great value alternative to expensive Dremmel tools, especially for DIY dip and acrylic nails at home, and appreciate its heavy-duty bits. The functionality and build quality receive mixed feedback – while some find it works well and is reliable, others report it stops working completely and isn’t professional quality. Durability is a concern, with multiple customers reporting it broke within two months of use.

Girl From the North Country –
Excellent customer service!
This is an updated review: I ordered this grinder a few weeks ago, and had issues with overheating and the on/off switch. Since I had tried to use it, I didn’t think it would qualify for a return. I left a review about the overheating, and was really (pleasantly) surprised that the seller reached out to me about the problems on their own initiative. They were really polite, asked a few questions about the problems I was having, and then offered to replace or refund my purchase. They processed the refund in under an hour. I wanted to come back and update the review to reflect the customer service in my rating- the device has a lot of positive reviews, so I assume mine was just a fluke, and for the price, it’s a really nice kit with more than the usual standard accessories (the booklet especially was nice bc I had no idea what each head was technically supposed to do).Had I not bought another grinder before I talked to them, I would have taken the exchange (they didn’t even ask me to send the original one back), just bc the rest of the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. A company that stands behind their product says a lot more about their business ethos than a single dud product. At no point did they ask me to change my review; the replacement/refund offer was genuinely them just standing behind their product and customers, which is why I did want to update it. It’s definitely one of the nicer kits at this price point, and I would definitely give it another shot if I need to replace the one I bought after theirs in the future.Original review:It came with a lot of accoutrements – two different sets of grinding heads (each in their own case), a large baggie of sanding bands (which are only used for one grinder head, so they will definitely last you awhile), the device itself, and a booklet that explains what each grinder head is used for, with trouble shooting tips and a six month warranty if you complete the registration process (it’s explained in the last section of the booklet). The device also comes with a cable and built in adapter; the cord is fairly long but you do need to keep it plugged in while using.Unfortunately, my device kept heating up within 30 seconds of turning it on. It’s all metal, so it got too hot to even hold. The cord has an on/off switch, and a forward/reverse switch. It plugs into the bottom of your device like a head jack, and the adapter goes into an electrical outlet. The drill bits/grinder heads basically attach by pushing them in, then twisting a tiny bit at the end. I had some issues with the device turning on and off- some of the drill bits/grinder heads didn’t seem to connect, while others were a bit less twitchy. Between that and the overheating, I couldn’t really use it.The booklet specs say that the input voltage range is 100-240 V (50/60Hz), and the output is DC 12V 1A. Our outlets are only 120 volts (which is the norm for regular household outlets, stateside, while larger utilities like washers and dryers, refrigerators, etc are higher). I tried it on several different outlets, but the device overheats on all of them. The device should not be overheating since I am well below the voltage limit. In other words, this was definitely caused by the internal wiring of the device itself.

I’m giving 5 stars, but an issue…
Overall I really like this nail drill kit.First the bad. The polishing bit looked like it was either used already or dropped and rolled on a dirty floor. Everything else seemed new. I tried to clean and sanitize, but I’m disappointed and a little disgusted that they’d sell something like this that seems to have been returned. I don’t know if that’s an Amazon thing or on the place that makes / distributes it or what, but not happy about that. I needed it right away, so didn’t have time to wait for them to reship it if I returned it so, yeah, that’s creepy and yucky. Hopefully I don’t develop a nail fungus or infection from it possibly being a used, returned personal care item.Okay, that was the bad. Here’s the rest. It’s much more powerful than my older one, even though that brand was more expensive. This had more bit options. Spins faster. Smaller so easy to control. I’m new to using this kind of item, so I’m glad there’s a booklet that says what each piece is for. Old one didn’t have that. So, it works well, but I’m grossed out thinking it might have been used by someone else. One last thing is I wish it came in a pouch or case. Using a make up case for it.So good product, except that it might have been used by another person.

Worth it if you do soft gel at home
I used to think the cheap battery nail drill was great until I bought this. Blows the other out of the water. If you do soft gel at home this is so worth it, will make it 100x easier. Just be careful because it is powerful and you can really file down your nails too much if you get carried away. Even the lowest setting can still be strong with certain drill tips attached. I like the variety you get for the tips but they do wear down and stop being as effective over time. I think thatâs inevitable though with any brand. It seems to have a pretty generic way of attaching them though and Amazon sells a lot of cheap drill bits you can surely buy. You get so many with this drill though it would take a while to get to that point though. Be aware that you will need to plug this in to a wall outlet to use it, the cord is fairly long. Only thing Iâm not crazy about is the on/off switch. Itâs a toggle switch where âoff â is the middle position, and moving it to either side will turn the drill âonâ and spin in that direction. It can be tricky to get back to âoffâ and I often end up making it spin in opposite directions til I get it to turn off. The speed setting is a scrolly wheel next to the toggle switch. It can go really high. This is a great low cost drill that feels professional quality.EDIT: so just short of one year later the cord has developed an issue and the drill will not work unless itâs at a certain angle. I have not quite figured out what that angle actually is, so itâs essentially now useless. It was a good drill if youâre used to those cheap battery ones from Walmart, but I have since replaced this drill with another that was only slight more expensive. Now I highly recommend getting a drill with a locking mechanism for the bit. I thought some vibration from the bit was normal like I experienced with the drill this review is for. But the locking mechanism feature rids you of all that. This was drill wasnât bad, but thereâs better out there. If you do buy this drill though make sure to only get the shorter style bits. The longer ones will make the vibration even worse since it doesnât lock the bit down.

This item was misrepresented on Amazon UK. The photo gallery shows everything apart from the plug which is a US one and will not work in the UK.I returned the item weeks ago and have still not received a refund.

I use it on my three dogs nails works perfectly, does get a little warm so if your dogs nails are very long and you have more than one dogs to do I would let it cool down, other than that good product.
