But it is hard to hold onto with the little tip on the end. Otherwise, it does a great job. I have very fine, thin hair and the low setting is just perfect for turning my somewhat frizzy hair into nice curls.

Doesnât seem to hold any curl
This brush seems well made and looks nice. When I use it however it doesnât give my hair any curl. I will have to stick with the iron Iâm currently using. It has several heat levels to choose from and heats up quickly.

Excellent for smoothing/volumizing on certain hair types
This is an excellent styling tool, but I think it will work best for certain purposes on certain types of hair. I have medium length, fine hair that holds curl well, since it has a bit of its own wave. Like all fine hair, it’s prone to those annoying flyaways and limpness. This is a very quick way to improve on both those problems. In minutes, I can give it volume, texture (works great with layers), and smooth out those annoying flyaways. I can fix bedhead on days I don’t shampoo. I can smooth out creases from a previous ponytail. I can get some nice texture, slightly curved ends, a feathering, some shaping. It’s super easy and quick and I get lasting results. I don’t need styling products to make it work. The bristles are nice. I didn’t get any tangling, and they are smooth as they brush through my hair. The barrel heats up quickly, but it doesn’t seem so hot as to damage or dry hair.Now, that said, for curls, this is not super effective for me. Perhaps for other hair types or lengths it might work better. I tried several ways and used the instructions provided in here, but it makes waves, but not a loose curl. With styling products, it might have more hold. However, I have better tools on hand if I want to make curls. This brush does things that no other tool can, especially on dry hair. For that, this is extremely good.

This curling brush works great. I really like it. Had to replace an old 1 of a different brand because it’s bristles all fell out. This 1 appears to be a better product. Great price too.
