Very gentle, hydrating, and unscented.
AESTURA THERACNE365 Hydro Active Toner for Acne-Prone Skin | Reduce Excess Oil, Improves The Skin Texture, Soothing Zinc & Sebum-Caring BHA, Non-comedogenic, 6.76 Fl Oz–I have combination skin and suffer from hormonal acne. Even in my adult life, it’s something that doesn’t truly go away! The AESTURA THERACNE365 Hydro Active Toner has helped keep it at bay, without further irritating my skin. It’s almost hard for me to believe that this toner has BHA in it, considering how gentle it is on my skin. It feels like a hydrating, watery toner that’s meant solely for moisture. My experience with AESTURA has been great. Their products have always been hydrating and gentle on my skin, so this is no different. This particular toner claims to reduce excess oil, improve skin texture, and sooth the skin. I’ve been using this nightly whenever I have breakouts and so far, I’m very impressed with how it delivers on all of those claims. My skin isn’t as oily the next day, the texture of my skin is noticeably better, and most of all, the toner is calming and hydrating. I’d feel comfortable using this twice a day, everyday if I wanted to. With how gentle it is, I do think it’s appropriate for those with sensitive skin as well. It’s also unscented and there’s been no irritation or burning sensation on my skin at all from this product. If you’re looking for a gentle toner that combats acne, the AESTURA THERACNE365 Hydro Active Toner is a wonderful choice. It’s worth the price, so give it a try!

Gentle, fragrance-free, dye-free, no irritation. Does leave a slightly sticky feel.
* Overall Impression:-This is a good value for a gentle, fragrance-free, dye-free, non-irritating toner with Salicylic Acid (BHA) and Niacinamide.-Do note that it does leave a slightly sticky feel on the skin after use, due to the glycerin content and is a mid-weight, vs light weight toner formula.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Good value for the size, formula and ingredients.-The ingredient listing in the listing here, did match what was printed on the outer carton. The ingredients are printed on the outer carton.-Safety sealed with a foil stick on seal under the cap. (Remove for initial use.)-Small opening to dispense, doesn’t waste product. (I used the palm of my hands vs a pad to save product.) It’s a tilt the bottle to dispense style (quick tilt, or your pour vs get a little out).-Secure plastic cap.-Attractive bottle and labeling.-Fragrance free. No perfumes, fragrances, fragrant or essential oils. I could not detect any scent at all. I would consider this very safe for those sensitive to scents.-Dye free.-Sulfate free.-No irritating alcohols, alcohol free.-Safe for sensitive skin. I had no irritation, burning, redness, stinging during or after use.-Formula: It’s a mid weight (not as light as water, a bit thicker than water but not overly heavy) liquid toner with some moisture in it due to the glycerin content, which also makes it lightly moisturizing and it does leave the skin a bit sticky after use. It doesnât sink into the skin totally but leaves a moisturizing coating with the glycerin leaving it a little sticky after use.-Moisture level: light moisture. If you have oily skin, it may be enough for you by itself with the glycerin in it. But normal to dry skin will likely require a heavier moisture product layered over this.-Works well as the liquid layer in skincare layering under moisturizer or under a serum and moisturizer. (For gentle PM, non-sunscreen, moisturizer: Iâd suggest Cerave PM, or Vanicream Facial moisturizer, or The Ordinaryâs moisturizer in a small tube.)-Mid sized bottle at 6.76 oz.-The formula doesn’t have any obviously problematic or irritating ingredients, it’s a nice formula and well formulated with good ingredients.-Standout ingredients: Salicylic Acid (BHA), Niacinamide, Zinc, Glycerin, Allantonin-Use and benefit: mild exfoliation and light moisture.-Dermatologist tested, allergy tested. No common allergens on the ingredients listing.* Cons-what I didnât like and what didnât work well:-The ingredients weren’t printed on the bottle itself, but are on the outer carton. I clipped them off the outer carton and used a hair tie to attach it to the bottle.-The clear, see through bottle, while mostly covered with a label, so that does help-does allow light to degrade the formula. A non-see through bottle would have been a better choice to preserve the formula and ingredients from light degradation.-Itâs not a pump top bottle, it does have a small dispenser opening. It does keep a lot of air out of the bottle, but not as much as a pump top bottle would have.* Tips & Thoughts:-If you’re looking for a less pricey alternative that’s a bit lighter and far less sticky and still has Salicylic Acid, the Peach Slices brand Acne Exfoliating Toner is one I really like as a gentle, fragrance free lighter option.-It does have Salicylic Acid in it and Niacinamide. Both can cause burning or stinging if your skin is sensitive or your are using more than one product with these ingredients. I didn’t find it irritating on my sensitive skin, but some people might.-I’d suggest using it (this toner) as a night-time toner vs day-time or under makeup, due to the slightly sticky feel it has due to the glycerin content in it. It’s normal for glycerin based liquids to often have a slightly sticky texture.-Since Salicylic Acid is a BHA (beta hydroxy acid) exfoliant, be especially careful to wear you sunscreen daily, as it can make you more sun sensitive when you use an exfoliant. (I’d suggest for sunscreens that are gentle and don’t burn or cause irritation: Cerave AM, Vanicream Facial Sunscreen-those are about the only ones I can wear without burning and stinging.)-Note this is a toner, to use after cleansing and or micellar water. It’s not a cleansing toner or micellar water.

Not Good Toner
Itâs itchy after use. I broke out with acne or rash. Not sure if itâs the toner or cleanser that caused it. I will not be purchasing again!

Sticky feeling on skin
This toner is just alright. It didn’t burn my sensitive skin, which was nice. However, it left my skin feeling sticky. I didn’t notice any significant difference in my oil production but I have pretty oily skin.

Great for oil prone skin
I have oily skin/problematic T zone, and this made a big difference compared to no toner at all. After washing my face, it helps avoid dry skin on my cheeks or nose, and if you are lazy, applying some toner at night before bed instead of washing makes your skin matte and dry. I’ve been using it at the end of the cold winter months and I think it does a fine job helping support my regular facial moisturizer.

T-zone pores are clearing & shrinking
I am using the toner and foaming face wash by Aestura Theracne366 and my t-zone blackheads are clearing and my pores are shrinking after just a little over of week of daily use.I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any drying or dermatitis. The products have little scent so no migraines.I really like the moisturizing toner. My face is left feeling smooth and soft without clogging pores.Iâve tried numerous products that claim to shrink pores, but this combination is actually doing so.
