Donât like the cuticle clipper
Everything in this kit is great except the cuticle clipper isnât good⦠it had an odd shape so it is hard to actually trim cuticles. Really no other use for it other than cuticles.

I had never tried an angled clipper or a glass file before and now I wonder why my parents deprived me of such simple yet amazing inventions growing up!First off, on arrival I was very impressed by the packaging, it comes in a very nice sliding cardboard box. Sliding the box open to find the very well made leather (looking?) zippered case would make for an impressive gift.I loved both of the clippers, they are a good weight, very sharp and sit well in my hand. What is an ear cleaner doing in here? Instead I used it to clean under my nails, it worked okay but I do wish there was a flat skinnier tool to accomplish this goal better. The glass file I had never heard of before but it blew my mind how well it filed the edges of my nails and (after googling it) when I tried it on the tops of my nails it left them shinier than I’ve ever seen before!I did not like the cuticle pusher/ cutter though, it didn’t have a flat edge to use to push the cuticles back and the cutter itself is very thick and rounded making it hard to get it close enough to the cuticle to cut it effectively. I had a similar problem with the cuticle nipper, there is so much material around the sharp edges that it prevents me from getting it close enough to my cuticles to cut them. The tweezers are more like super dull scissors, any time I try to pinch a hair to pull it out, it just cuts through the hair instead. It doesn’t have two gripping points on the tips like you expect tweezers to have.I ended up taking out the tools I don’t like and replacing them with the tools I had previously that I do like, the case holds them all well and is very attractive.Over all, I love a few of the tools and the case but I can’t justify the high cost when half the tools don’t work well/as expected. If they improved a few of the tools this would easily be a 5 star products.
