Bought this to put on my window Cill to keep my cats off of it so i can eventually have plants there. its also on the back of our dining room chairs because we have a cat who thinks shes a money. So far the chair spikes work with keeping her off but i havent seen anyone try the window cill yet. We’ll see!Easy to cut so you can size it to whatever it is you’re putting it on, pretty well built, decent size, could’ve been longer but i made it work. Very light weight, i used zip ties so it should definitely be easy to clean up when needed to be.

Hurts my feet, not my cat’s!
I recently adopted a year and half old cat and he is a climber. I tried sprays and tinfoil, but it didn’t stop him. I thought surely this kind of mat would, but I’ve seen him step across it. I can’t return it because I had cut it in pieces to put where he jumps to. I would have thought something like this would work in a flower bed to discourage them, but my cat is indoors. I stepped on it by my leather chair where I had put a piece because he had started trying to scratch the corner, even though he has a scratching post, but the first night I shut the light off, forgot it was there, and it felt like I was stepping on a bed of nails! For me it was a waste of money. I’ve seen him go across it at least least times, but can’t snap a pic fast enough. He knows, “Get down!”, but that doesn’t do any good at night.

I put it on my plant table.I told that cat not to go on my table. I even showed her I put scat mat on, and she still doesn’t listen. Jumped on the mat once. She screamed Jumped off and ran to the other room. Never did it again. My plants are safe. And she still gets to LIVE in my house for free.

I saw people commenting on how sharp it is and complaining that it might hurt the catâ¦. THATS THE POINT lol yes it will hurt your cat BUT after your cat feels that pain ONE TIME they donât wanna feel it again. When I first got it my cat tried to jump on the counter once and after that attemp, he has never tried again so it does what itâs supposed to do. My cat can go anywhere in the house that he wants to but I just donât want him on the kitchen counters where I prepare my food with his litter box paws 𤢠Iâm happy with the effectiveness of the produce and the value for the money. It only had to hurt him one time for it to work and heâll live lol 10/10

Didn’t work on squirrels
I bought it to put on shepards hooks and squirrel baffles to help keep the squirrels out of my bird feeders. Squirrels walk right across it and aren’t fazed. Don’t know how it would work for cats

Keeps squirrels from digging up the garden
This solved the problem of squirrels digging up the vegetable garden. The roll was easy to lay down and cut to size. We anchored it with galvanized landscaping stakes. Seedlings found their way through with no problem. The first rolls worked so well that we purchased three more times. It will be easy to pick up the plastic mat to prepare the ground in the spring, pull off any brown stems, and replace it again. Nothing else we tried prevented the squirrels from devastating our garden – we are sooo glad we found this product.

I was a bit worried because it arrived folded tightly. In order to straighten it, I had to roll in the opposite direction and used the staples to flatten it. Surprisingly, this way works well so I can place it in different areas. Happy with this purchase as no more naughty cat.

I cut it in two and i put it close to gather to make it hard to jump for my cat. But my cat very easily find the way to walk on it. Maybe because the spaces between the pines.Also if you want it for indoor you cannot fix it on the floor so your cat can move it.
