How is Dandy Blend Made
From A Water Extraction of the Roasted Plants
1. All ingredients are dried and roasted separately.
2. They are then combined in the proper proportions, and allowed to steep in a hot-water filled vat.
3. The water, and the water-soluble portions of the ingredients, is drained off leaving behind the grounds.
4. The grounds with all the water-insoluble substances, are composted.

I discovered Dandy Blend when i was forced (for health reasons) to go on a diet that excluded ALL caffeine – not even decaff tea was allowed. But on the slip that the specialist gave me detailing my diet, next to “no caffeine” it said “Dandy Blend ok”. I thought “what’s dandy blend?”I love my decaff Nespresso pods and so the thought of not being able to have my creamy hot morning drink, I went home and looked up Dandy Blend online to find it on Amazon.I actually like it just as much as coffee and maybe a little better. It tastes delicious cold or hot. Its easy to mix and comes in the same form as instant coffee so it immediately blends and dissolves with any liquid. I’ve had it sweet or without any sweetener. I have it with almond milk or black and its seriously delicious any which way you spin it. However, word to those of you who are looking for something that tastes exactly like coffee but has no caffeine – if you blind tested Dandy and coffee, you could easily tell which is which. But its delicious and tastes similar enough that after only a week or so, I couldn’t remember how coffee tasted different.It reminds me of properly brewed cold coffee where it lacks any acidity taste but is still very rich and smooth. So the taste was more than enough for me to drink it, but then i stumbled upon the health benefits of dandelion and i’m a Dandy Blend lifer now!1. Digestion: Dandelion root is a mild laxative and also balances the good bacteria found in your intestines. It also helps your stomach and liver release stomach acid and bile which keeps your digestion moving properly.2. The product bag also has a ziplock top so you could also just keep it in the product bag if you didn’t want to invest in an airtight container.And to answer your question, no, i was NOT paid to post this review or given a free bag of Dandy Blend. But, if the vendor ever wanted to send me a free bag of Dandy, I would certainly not complain. 🙂

Great replacement if you want to quit coffee, but can’t give up the ritual.
I wanted to take a break from coffee for a month, it doesn’t taste like coffee, but it was a very welcomed alternative, and made the break easy with its slight bitterness and dark roasted aroma. When I reintroduced coffee, surprisingly I found that I liked the flavor of this better (!?), and ended up still craving this. I keep this in stock at home, sometimes I just want it instead of coffee or tea. I have a cup every day, even though I am drinking coffee again. I love that I can have it any time of day as well, without it negatively impacting my sleep. Looking forward to summer and making iced Dandy Blends. Blend so easily. A little goes a long way, you can make it as strong as you like, and the 2 lb bag will last for months!

Yummy and Healthy Coffee Replacement
I learned about this from Katie Dunlop with Love Sweat Fitness. She uses it as a coffee replacement for debloating which now, I do too. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my coffee, but this is great when you’re feeling bloated and still want that coffee vibe. I actually use this more often than coffee. I follow her recipe (mostly)- a scoop of this, a small scoop of Cocoa Powder (I personally prefer the dark), a scoop of Love Sweat Fitness Miss Congeniality mood boost, a bit of cinnamon, some raw honey, and a bit of heated almond milk. It’s so yummy! Now, if you’re used to fancy coffee or sugary coffee drinks, this is going to be different and take some getting used to. But it’s worth it. It doesn’t have to be a coffee replacement. That’s just how I use it. And I refuse to run out of it.

Where has this been all my life
I was skeptical of this product, but my wife wanted to try a dandelion drink because of it’s medicinal properties. We found this, it was reviewed well, and was relatively cheap. First time I tried it, I liked it. The next day, I found myself wanting another. In no time at all, this drink became part of my daily afternoon routine. Now I can’t do without it.It’s strangely good. I like to mix it with heavy cream to smooth out the flavor, although it’s totally not necessary. The bag says it may give you energy; it doesn’t affect me at all. Your results may vary. At 454 servings per bag, this is also a huge value. It will have a permanent home in my pantry.

I love this product. I had to give up coffee due to some tummy issues. Honestly I had been wanting to reduce the amount of coffee I drink anyway. This has really helped me get over my coffee addiction. I drink it with some organic oat barista cream and I love the taste. It is much more affordable than coffee. Also, it is nice that dandelion has some significant health benefits.

Tastes amazing, dissolves amazing, easy to use in baking – bloats me though
I love this product in the sense that it tastes amazing. Seriously, it tastes like a close version of coffee. It blends into liquid seamlessly, and it’s convenient. I used this for 6 months straight until…..until I realized that I have a sensitivity to chicory root(inulin). This ingredients makes my stomach bloat very noticeably. I have noted this with any product that has chicory. I am sooooooo bummed. But I share this, because many ppl have issues with chicory/inulin, and they may not know it. If you don’t have issues, enjoy this product, I know you will!! If you suspect you have issues, stop ingesting chicory for 2 weeks and see of your bloating goes down. Im taking 1 star off for this reason alone. But really that is a personal issue, not a product issue.

This has a coffee ish taste but no caffeine. My healer recommended this so I could drink less or eliminate coffee. I enjoy this in late morning or afternoon after 1 cup of coffee in the am.

I liked the BarleyCup Dandelion, but I only managed to get 3 jars before I couldn’t get anymore.So I went looking. and found this brand, so I bought it on sale..Now I have that wonderful taste, it’s just a hint of something that makes the day a little more magical.I’ve had it hot with my favourite sweetener blend and oat milk. is lovely ^_^ and I’m also sure it would make a great milky cold drink!.Oh, and I cant drink De-caff coffee sometimes, but this is truly a caffeine free beverage!
