This does not work. I’m willing to try just about everything, just because I can. I bought this a year ago. Complete Crap. Its just cheap Chinese crap that doesn’t work to sell to those gullible (yes me included) to try it. Its really just soap. Hasn’t changed anything but the spot on the soap dish in my shower. Save your money.

Chemical factory according to ingredient list, wife is afraid to use.
The first two ingredients are detergent (anionic surfactant): lauryl lauryl sulfate, lauryl sulfate. Actually I don’t know what it means if “lauryl” is twice. Lauryl is a chain of 12 carbon atoms, a long chain that one sticks sulfur on the end of, for its detergent properties. The usual types are sodium lauryl sulfate (in ordinary detergents) and much more expensive ammonium lauryl sulfate (prevent sodium buildup, for salon-level shampoos), with sodium or ammonia on the end of the carbon chain opposite the sulfur. This one doesn’t specify so I’d assume sodium. Is “lauryl lauryl” 24 carbon atoms in a chain? 12 is really enough.Then the rest are some chemicals I don’t understand, but presumably they are dye to darken the hair roots. First scrub the hair very clean and open up the surface (like peroxide in hair color perhaps, which opens the way to the inner root of the hair), then infuse the color. But my wife is afraid to use so much detergent on her scalp. It would indeed clean it up, but too harsh! And wouldn’t it dye the scalp dark as well?Perhaps detergent is used in place of peroxide because the latter is volatile. In a salon, the hair color is mixed right before use and must be applied quickly.There are no natural-appearing ingredients in the list, and none are promised in the product description, but the packaging box says something about “natural”, which is not what this is. On the other hand, natural henna hair color doesn’t last, but “chemical” hair color lasts much better. This product might be very effective and also safe.
