Great curling iron!
Looks just like it should and works great! I always have difficulty getting a small enough curler full of hair to keep it on the roller as my hair is long, layered and thick. This fits the bill. With the glove I can hold onto the hot part to get the ends properly on the iron without getting burned. It is long enough the hair doesn’t fall off before I get it all rolled up. I am so. happy I took a chance on it. It is much bigger and longer than I am used to but it works so well I don’t mind at all. It really was not hard to learn to use it. A free tip – to help my curls last longer as my hair if heavy and thick, I quickly roll it in a regular roller after taking it off the curling iron. It keeps it up and out of my way while I work on the rest of my hair. If I let it all set that way for about 5 minutes, the curls last much longer.

Good iron with one design flaw
The iron is great. It gets beyond hot enough – actually 350 is better for curls but this goes up at least to 425. Go hotter only if you use this more for straightening and volume.The barrel is probably bigger than you are imagining if youâve never had a 2â before. Itâs good for really long hair.The design flaw is that when you are holding it, the buttons to change the temp are right there under your hand. I kept accidentally raising the temp! I mean it was really a problem for me and the reason I took off one star. Never had that problem before with other irons. Very annoying.Otherwise it was easy enough to use did a good job.

Best curling iron I’ve ever bought
First have to say I don’t usually take the time to review, I have never needed a curling iron for my curly hair, however now hitting 50 my hair has not only gotten thinner I’ve noticed a losing curls and hair is straight from roots and through my hair so many straight strands 🙁 and doing my hair is stressful. First thing I loved how long it is my hair would always get caught at the end other brands so short, second love how I can adjust the temp, and finally third love how easy was to use and mainly loved!!! the curls it gave me looked amazing and full I really wish I had taken a picture………I absolutely recommend this product

Great barrel length but flawed Design
Ordered the 2â curling iron.Pros: Color combination, finishes, temp control, longer barrel for long hair, good priceI really liked the longer barrel in this curling iron, it made a difference with the quality of the curls on long hair.Cons: Temp control button location, top heavyThereâs one Design flaw, the placement of the heating control buttons. Since the barrel is longer it makes the curling iron heavier which requires a tighter grip so it doesnât fall out of your hands. The issue is that the temperature buttons end up under your palm which causes the buttons to be pushed and the temp fluctuating accordingly. I have fine hair and need the lowest temp to avoid damaging/drying my hair and found myself accidentally pushing the temp buttons up. It doesnât take much for the curling iron to get super hot. I personally struggled with this issue and could not figure out another way to hold it where this wouldnât happen. One other area of concern is the short cool tip at the end, it is very small and difficult to use without burning your fingers. If this tip could be a little longer it would help grab the heavier barrel and if the temp control buttons would be switched so the buttons are coser to the barrel it would make for an awesome curling iron.Unfortunately for me the Cons determined this is not the right product for my needs.

Great curling iron wand. Annoying cord and clamp is too tight
Curling iron itself works well. And the barrel is long so it can handle long hair. The ceramic iron makes hair silky smooth.However!! And this was a big however. The clamp on this is so hard to push that the curling iron has slipped and spun on me several times. The spring is too tight. And the cord does not swivel and its thick. Itâs always in the way. For those two reasons, I returned.

Similar to a lot of other reviews, the hair clamp/clip part is a little less tight than it could be – maybe? However, if the clamp/clip was any tighter it may cause dents around the top of the hair line. For me, if the clamp were any tighter and combined with my lack of proper technique, I think it may lead to weird dents at my hairline. Overall – this is a great hair tool for all lengths, textures, and thickness of hair types. You can create volume and fullness easier than with a flat iron. Also, because the barrel is so big, it smooths hair faster than with a flat iron. Heats up fast and hot temps of 450 F. I purchased this over 8 months ago – I use it about 3-4 times a week – and it is still working brilliantly!
