very satisfied for the price
I have used this trimmer (and others) for many years. It provides a close shave with little fear of nicking sensitive skin. The length attachments are not the best of quality, but get the job done. As shown in the video, the top is very easily removed for easy cleaning and lubrication. the battery last longer than most other brands i have used.This is not a top tier trimmer by any means, but great value for its price.

Does the job and what it’s supposed to
I’ve owned and been happy with an older Remington trimmer for close to 10 years. See attached pic. Best money spent. It STILL holds a charge for weeks between use. I use it without a guard to trim side burns, remove unwanted or stray hairs, and trim the back of my neck and square back up the back of my hair line. With the guard I tame down the chest hair or where ever needs it. I even used it during Covid to give myself a haircut because it wasn’t possible to get one for so long. My adjustable guard attachment broke and I was sick and tired of holding it in position to trim what I needed to so I decided to pick up this newer model. That and figured the blades would be new and sharp another plus.So here’s what I’ve learned, tips I’m sharing as well as opinions. First go buy blade oil and use it regularly. It will keep the blades sharp. Just run a small amount over the blades, turn it on and let it run for a couple of minutes, then you’re done.The adjustable guard attachment is plastic NOT heavy duty so yes you can break it or strip it out if you man handle it or force it on or up and down adjusting the length. That’s what the push button is for so just go easy with it and it will last a long time. I found out the hard way when one day it just started slipping down on it’s own. I’d stripped it out as well as cracked it from over the course of time repeatedly pushing on the top of the guard itself or pulling it up by hand. Dropping it in the sink by accident a few times didn’t help matters either I’m sure. Live and learn.This should go without saying but never leave the trimmer on the charger plugged between uses you don’t need to and it shortens the life of the battery. Charge it up for a few hours and take it off and put it away. After using the trimmer for however long I need I put it on the charger for 4-6 hours and then take it offIn my opinion I think the attachments nose hair trimmer and foil are just junk. Any brand trimmer I’ve purchased and tried they either catch or pull and are more pain inflicting than a convenience. Maybe others have better luck but I never have. Those looking for a close shave, this is not a electric razor/shaver it was never meant to be. It will never give you the results that one would. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment and dish out the extra money to buy a full sized and featured electric razor not a trimmer.I’m rating it 5 stars taking into account as of now the battery life will be the same as my old one. Otherwise it’s identical in performance. One thing I was disappointed about is the pic of the product leads you to believe the 3 bars on the handle that light up green when plugged in are to indicate the level of charge. They’re NOT it just lights up to tell you it’s charging that’s it. If I run into charging issues or it dies or a charge doesn’t last as long I’ll update and deduct stars from my review.

Great for an accurate shave!
I first bought this shaving kit in July 2018 (for $21) and only use the base shaver (no guard) and the nose hair trimmer monthly, but they have held up well to this day! I cannot comment on how effectively rinsing the pieces under water cleans them as I merely rub clipper oil on them, but they have remained sharp and functioning flawlessly. I charge the main housing for 3-4 hours and the battery lasts far longer than my 20-30 minute shave, however it has fizzled out early on the rare occasion I charge it over two days in advance. The housing is also smooth, easy to grip and maneuver, and signals when the power runs low by buzzing gradually more softly instead of suddenly cutting off. I recommend this grooming kit for anyone looking for an accurate shave regardless of time spent and for a fair price; overall the âRemington PG6025 All-in-1 Lithium Powered Grooming Kit, Trimmer (8 Pieces)â gets a respectable 4/5 stars!

That’s right 7 years I used these every week and the blade just started to go dull, so I just purchased a new one. This is the best clippers you can get for this price! And I’m hairy as a grizzly bear these clip right through.

Bad battery, breaks quick, but handles well and affordable
This is my third set and Iâm already having battery issues after fully charged. It doesnât last too long, itâs been just a few weeks with barely any use and itâs dead, which luckily isnât too big a deal bc it recharges, obviously, so Iâve learned to charge it every week or so. I use it for about 2 minutes twice a week, so not really any excuse for the poor battery life. The other two went bad each around the one year mark, with the trimmer blades developing cutting issues and re-oiling/cleaning ineffective in spite of incessant immaculate upkeep. The plastic adjustable-level-piece is less than inadequate with teeth one by one breaking off after just normal use, starting around 6 months, and nearly toothless by the time the blades start having issues at 12months. BUT, itâs very small and cuts well enough for haircuts for 3 people plus regularly trimming beards. It extremely versatile for super close (barely a five oâclock shadow) to as long as you need. It is exceptionally smooth on the skin, with no knicks or cuts like most bigger ones incur. I can press pretty hard into my face with the bare blade to get a nearly clean shave fast and it shapes around the ears with ease. Plus it handles well with its form fitting shape (like an hour glass) and small size for maneuvering, so itâs super easy to grip. And thatâs the best part versus all the others Iâve ever had: quality of trim/cut and handling. So in spite of the short battery and blade life, itâs not too bad to fork over this cost once a year considering how expensive it would be to pay a barber as often as I want a trim.

Pero sin duda es más de lo que esperaba.–Actualización 23-nov-2015–La pila de la rasuradora me duró cerca de 1 mes, rasurandome una o dos veces por semana.–Actualización 31 enero 2018–La baterÃa sigue durando más de 1 mes rasurandome 1 o 2 veces por semana. El aditamento con varias medidas se ha aflojado un poco, pero debe ser normal, pues lo uso siempre y lo quito y pongo seguido para limpiar la rasuradora.–Actualización 20 de julio 2023–¡Es indestructible! La pila le sigue durando semanas y cumple su función, aunque se volvió más ruidosa que cuando era nueva. La utilizo religiosamente 1 vez por semana. Ha aguantado infinidad de caÃdas. El aditamento de plástico transparente con varias medidas terminó por romperse, pero ahora sólo uso el cabezal del #1 que es de plástico duro y, por tanto, imposible de que se rompa.Por más que he querido jubilar esta rasuradora, sigue siendo la de cabecera.
