Thank you Healthy Origins for continuing to produce your 500 mg EpiCor – additive-free!EPICOR IS AMAZING! EpiCor balances, rather than boosts the immune system. Have seen it do wonders in many areas – the kind of side effect we can all use – where the body improves in other ways than expected. At the time of this posting, have not had a cold or flu since I happened upon a product containing EpiCor 3+ years ago, and other issues seem to be improving, as well. I am thankful the competitive market has brought it into the realm of affordability for the majority.One site advertises “EpiCor acts like a multiple vitamin for your immune system”. With consistent, continuous EpiCor supplementation – if one contracts anything – it is more of a whimper, instead of a debilitative bang.My first time taking an EpiCor product, I was experiencing flu-like symptoms and then suddenly swollen and suffering with an infected tooth. I had the product with EpiCor, and not feeling well enough to venture out – I decided to see if the supplement on hand I took some, went to sleep – upon wakening I could feel a difference. I took EpiCor 3x day, and after about 72 hours, all signs of the flu and tooth infection were gone – WITHOUT any medications or dental treatment. Everyone’s body is different, but this was my experience. It was so remarkable – I called the company which produced the product to learn more.EpiCor improves us in areas we do not expect and the benefits are innumerable – there are no known side effects, it does not interfere with over-the-counter medications or any of the tested prescriptive medications. It has been shown to aid digestion (even IBS disappears), strengthen the skin and mucous membranes (the body’s first lines of defense), lessen tissue damage and inflammation.If one has ANY type of ailment, especially those associated with the immune system – EpiCor may help. Relief for IBS, Food Intolerances and Allergies
I have suffered for years with IBS. I have tried so many things to settle it down that I have lost count. Nothing has worked like this product for settling everything down. My only complaint is that because I am now digesting food better, I gained a little weight. But that is a small price to pay to have intestinal peace and quiet. I read everything on the company website, so I assume it will also help keep me healthy, but for me that is icing on the cake. I am taking it 2-3 times per day, or at the first sign of intestinal upset. It quiets things down in about 30 minutes.Addition 12-13-14I am going to elaborate on the above. Not only have I have been suffering from intestinal tract problems for my entire life, since my childhood, I have had multiple recurring ear infections as a child and bladder infections as an adult. I have been diagnosed with IBS, fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I have MTHFR mutations, and in May, 2013 found out that on top of all that, I was suffering from Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, aka, mold illness. I have suffered for years from all kinds of food intolerances and allergies, Mast Cell Activation Disorder, and have lived on antihistamines from my early 30’s (I am now 63), taking the high doses that are characteristic of people with MCAD, to the point that the pharmacy programs would flag me as taking too much antihistamines, but it was the only way I could live. I have had to be so careful with my diet not to eat anything that would upset my system, and it is frankly impossible to do. There’s always something to set off my touchy intestinal tract. I have tried all kinds of stuff, butyrate, colostrum, all the active form B vitamins for the MTHFR mutations, chromium, selenium, TMG, DMG, Wobenzym, ALA, Astaxanthin, Bromelain, Quercetin, GABA, Glutathione, Immune XL, Iodine, magnesium, molybdenum, carnitine, black cumin seed extract, phenibut, royal jelly, propolis, CD, all kinds of digestive aids, CSM/zeolite/charcoal for mold illness, all kinds of probiotics, colon hydrotherapy, liver cleanses, meditation, biofeedback, energy balancing sessions, hypnosis, Kalcker’s worming protocol… and that’s not even a complete list!I have an entire cupboard stuffed with things that I tried that really did not help me. Nothing has given the sense of well being I have gotten since starting Epicor less than two weeks ago, and nothing has gotten at the intestinal tract problems like EpiCor. EpiCor shuts it down, I mean, just shuts down the intestinal tract problems. No more waking up at 3 am with a roiling intestinal tract, not being able to get back to sleep, in part due to corresponding knee and leg pain I would get with the intestinal roiling. I have suffered from insomnia, too, for several years. It feels like EpiCor is reordering my intestinal biome. I am eating things again that I thought I could not eat again (which as I mentioned is a minor problem because I have gained a little weight).The maintenance dose of Epicor is 1 500 mg capsule per day. I am taking 3-4 caps per day, one with each meal and at bedtime. Initially I was taking one in the morning and if I had any intestinal roiling or gas, I would take an EpiCor and within 20-30 minutes it would be gone. But then I started taking it on a regular basis with each meal and at bedtime, and now I don’t get any intestinal roiling or gas. I told the young clerk at the co-op today that I hoped she would feel as good today as I do, because I feel great! I feel better, have more energy and am sleeping better, and taking less of the prescription sleep aid I have had to take to get any sleep, and am taking less antihistamines. I slept through the night all last night until 6:30 am on only half of the prescription sleep aid. Epicor is so much more than promised on the company website or any of the other testimonials or material I have read about it, because none of that material mentioned the intestinal benefits I have experienced from it and amelioration of all kinds of other problems I have had. It is dealing with issues for which I have not found anything to work in years of trying about everything I could.Oh, and it stopped my hot flashes cold. I have always suspected that part of the cause of the hot flashes was intestinal, part hormonal. I found something to deal with the hormonal part of it recently when I had a Zyto reading, that recommended Palmarosa essential oil for me. There is nothing in the literature to support this, but for me, it has balanced my hormones, and it reduced the hot flashes. But I was still waking up sweating, and even if I managed to sleep all night and not wake up, as soon as I would wake up in the morning, within a few minutes I would sweat. The EpiCor has stopped that. No more hot flashes.Obviously, my results may not be indicative of yours, but if you have any of the issues I have (and I have a bunch) it would be worth a try. There are a lot of people whose reviews I have been reading not only on Amazon but other sites that sell Epicor that are very happy with this product, and that now certainly includes me. If I could give this product 6 stars, I would. I am now sending it to someone with Crohn’s, and to a relative with many of the same issues I have, to see if it will help them, too.

It works!
This product was recommended to my husband while he was doing lots of air travel for work. He nearly always came off of a plane with upper respiratory illness. He ended up seeing the nurse on staff at his place of employment that had experienced the same thing, and she had researched and found this product. The developmental history is very interesting and very convincing, so my husband tried it. And it seems to work for him. It seems to boost the immune system. As I mentioned the developmental history is interesting. He’s been taking it for several years and honestly has had fewer upper respiratory flare ups, and in general, has been sick less. So yes, I give it a thumbs up. And there do not seems to be any side effects.
