Fantastic scent, longevity leaves a bit to be desired
Both the Rainforest Rapids and Wood Barrel Bourbon smell absolutely awesome. I enjoyed alternating between the two – really gives your scent some personality without being too overbearing. The one significant downside is that after about 5 or 6 hours, the actual deodorant function is largely depleted. Would be ideal for a date or hangout, but I had to revert to Old Spice for 8 hour shifts that involve some degree of strenuous physical activity. Wonderful scent(s); doesn’t quite keep you covered long enough to trust with a full day’s exposure. And obviously for the price, you don’t want to be applying this stuff more than once a day. A great luxury product, but definitely a luxury product, unless you got it like that financially.

My favorite deodorant brand
The bourbon one smells amazing, the musk, maybe not as much but overall a great product so it deserves 5 stars. The deodorant keeps me smelling like deodorant all day. I try to stay away from anti-perspirants because of the aluminum so I am left with deodorant only and this is probably the best deodorant that I have used. It lasts longer than the Axe Dark Temptation that I was using, and it touts 48 hours.

stains clothes and the pine tar goes on black???
the smell on both is great but it (birchwood type) has stained my clothes and my husband uses the pine tar, it goes on black! when it dries, especially on long guy pit hair, it has clumped the hair together in black chunks like too much mascara. I want to use the pine tar smell but I don’t want to risk the black staining anything. The birchwood one goes on kind of heavy, it isn’t an even layered glide like I’m used to, and once it went on too smooth so I was suspicious and it turned out that the deodorant had hardened on the top like not all the way dry glaze/icing and I had to scrape it all off to have it work again. The deodorant effect doesn’t last longer than like half a day too and I am a sweaty stinky adhd person who used to use clinical dove until I read that an ingredient in there messes with thyroid, this brand rates high on Yuka so I wanted to get a brand that was body safe, but it doesn’t work for very long 🙁 and I don’t even go outside often, its hot in the south and it doesn’t even last inside at 70f air condition. I don’t know how long it would last out there! Now that I think about it maybe the heat even affected the stick itself during shipping or something because idk the way it dried that one time and the way it goes on is just odd. This stuff is too expensive to be this way.
