Great toning shampoo good for travel
The amount of toning in this shampoo is absolutely perfect for gray hair that has some yellow tones. If you lather up and leave it on for a bit, it works great. I was especially happy that it was a solid so that I could take it with me as I travel, I would use this as my everyday shampoo.

Switched from hi bar
When I switched to bar shampoo a few years ago, I started with hibar. I used it on and off (alternating with liquid) because I wasn’t overly impressed. It took forever to lather.I finally decided to try a different brand of bar shampoo and I’m so glad I did. The difference between the two is night and day. This bar lathers almost on contact with my hair. The shape is surprisingly easier to handle as well. And easily on par with any liquid shampoo, if not better. Certainly better for the environment at least. I can’t wait to try a new brand of solid conditioner next.

Not for me
I bought this bar soap because I liked the idea of less packaging -especially less plastic. I have very think waist length hair. This bar of soap took way too long to produce enough lather to wash my hair. The smell was amazing. Very almondy. It made the whole room smell wonderful. But I canât stand in the shower forever trying to wash my hair. Itâs probably very good for people with shorter hair. There was nothing âwrongâ with the soap. Itâs just not for me. If you have short hair Iâd recommend it to you.

After a checked bag didn’t come home with me last year for three days, I decided to make a go of carry-on only! To make space for sunscreen and other assorted liquids, I decided to try this product. I am quite surprised at the amount of silky lather you get from rubbing the bar for a few moments. I did two shampoos because it had been a couple of days since I washed my hair. I am impressed! It goes through your hair really smoothly and has a nice scent. I have a Brazilian Blowout and color treated hair so I need a sulfate free product. This states that it is. Would I use it every day? Probably not but for travel, absolutely!

Easy to travel with and use in the shower, but didn’t care for the scent.
I like solid shampoo bars, for travel, and find that the bars designated for certain hair types are definitely better than hotel shampoo, but the smell of this bar was awful, and after three uses, I threw it away and bought liquid shampoo, on my trip. The smell didn’t linger after my hair was dry, but during my shower the smell made me feel like I was washing my hair with ear wax. The bar itself was easy to hold and lathered easily. I couldn’t tell if it made a difference in my hair because the humidity was very high. If your nose is sensitive to smells, I don’t recommend this shampoo.

I use the Arista purple Shampoo Bar as recommended by my hair stylist. It is cruelty free, no phosphates etc and packaged in a recyclable box.The Shampoo is amazing! It does not have a scent, but lathers up incredibly, cleans your hair without stripping (which is very hard to find in a purple Shampoo to jeep your blond in) and rinses easily. It is made with castor oil and so also helps to strengthen and thicken your hair.I have short hair and one bar lasts me 6 months! So very cost effective.And I have very blond hair and this Shampoo keeps it the perfect walked out of the salon colour from one cut to the next. No brassiness ever!I expect their other shampoo bars work equally well.I wish they made a conditioner bar as well. Hope that comes soon. (Till then I do use another bar (also cruelty free) from another brand Canadian made and the two work well together).

Having repurchased this product again I thought it was time for a review…This is easily one of the best shampoo bars I’ve tried.1. It doesn’t have that waxy residue during the first few uses many bars have2. It lathers well and easily, making it fast to use without having to keep adding copious amounts of water3. It smells good, not a strong scent though if that’s what you’re after4. It works well to remove brassy tones5. Cleans up hair lovely, no greasy residue and lovely and soft afterwardsFor reference I have fine, dyed blonde, shoulder length hair

Ormai sono diventato un utilizzatore assiduo di shampoo solido, non riuscendo a trovare anche per il corpo qualcosa che mi soddisfi.Lo shampoo solido ha diversi vantaggio ma in generale ne voglio elencare 2:1) E’ generalmente un prodotto piu’ “naturale” e per capirlo vi basta leggere l’elenco di ingredienti di uno shampoo solido e confrontarlo con l’elenco di ingredienti di uno shampoo liquido. L’utilizzo di un numero minore o nulla di sostanze chimiche lo rende naturalmente piu’ salutare sia per i capelli sia per la cute (è il principale motivo per il quale sono “dovuto” passare a shampoo piu’ sensibili e fortunatamente con questi solidi non sto avendo gli stessi problemi che ho avuto prima);2) Ha un impatto ambientale minore. Non ha l’involucro di plastica (che comunque può essere riciclato) è piu’ piccolo da trasportare (quindi se ne trasportano di piu’) si utilizza meno acqua per la loro produzione.- In altre parole lo shampo solido è senza dubbi piu’ naturale ed ambientalista ma ripeto, il motivo per il quale lo preferisco al liquido, è che risulta essere piu’ sano per i nostri capelli/pelle, per lo meno nel mio caso.- Il risultato di pulizia è ovviamente ottimo, il capello torna pulito in maniera normale e non noto grosse differenze con altri shampoo solidi o con gli shampoo liquidi.- L’utilizzo è semplice, potete strofinarlo tra le mani bagnate per far formare la schiuma e man mano passarla nei capelli (soluzione che preferisco) o strofinare l’intero shampoo sui capelli bagnati. Fa molta schiuma a seconda di quanto ne usiate.- Altro vantaggio “secondario”, potete portarlo in aereo senza limiti.- Vero ed unico CONTRO, è dove riporlo, finchè lo lasciate sul vano doccia può andare bene ma se lo usate in palestra o appunto nei viaggi è opportuno comprare uno scatolino in metallo o una busta ermetica per riporlo ma almeno sapete che non si potrà “riversare” nel borsone palestra.- Non posso ancora fare considerazione sugli effetti sui capelli grassi.
