Cut down on your styling time With the Hot Tools Pro Artist Silicone 1″ Hot Brush Styler. This unique tool lets you easily add volume and create beautiful hairstyles. The ceramic barrel features a soft, flexible silicone brush that gently grips hair. The barrel also provides heat. Combining the two, you can create endless looks, from smooth and straight to a slight curl to hair ends. Multiple heat settings can be controlled by simply turning the rheostat control dial that reaches up to 430°F. TIP: Start at a lower heat setting and work your way up to avoid starting a temperature that is too hot for your hair type. There is a perfect setting for different hair types. While this hot brush styler works for multiple hair lengths and types, it is the best silicone brush styler for short hair because of the 1” barrel size allowing short lengths to grip tool. A rubberized handle makes for a more comfortable and secure grip. Equipped With a cool tip for easy handling, this tool is designed for comfort. A power indicator light and a separate on/off switch conveniently let you see when your tool is ready for use and off. The 8ft. professional swivel cord lets you move and style freely without restriction.

Customers say

Customers find the hair iron useful for styling and curling their hair. It works well, heats up quickly, and has adjustable temperature settings. The heat helps smooth the cuticle and expose the shine. Many customers are satisfied with how it styles and how easy it is to use. However, opinions differ on how soft the hair feels, how well the bristles hold hair, and its durability.

Fabulous Tool – Especially for Short Hair
Wow… exactly what my new haircut (pixie) needed to look great. I recently had my fine, very straight, gray hair cut in a pixie with bangs. I have a lot of hair but it won’t hold a curl; and I need my hair to have movement and not lay flat to avoid that old fashioned “bowl cut”. This tool does it easily and it lasts all day. I spent hours browsing for this styling tool… small barrel, high heat and bristles that will hold the hair. When I received the tool I immediately tried it on second day hair and even on my first attempt my hair looked great and held the body. Today I used it on freshly washed hair and was not disappointed. I have average skills with blow dryer and flat irons and this tool is exceptional for my short hair. The heat of the barrel tames my colics and gives my crown lots of lift. I do use lightweight styling products but didn’t have any issue with drag or tangling. The silicone bristles do hold my hair so I can get the barrel close to the scalp for lift. Absolutely love it.

The perfect tool for the curling-iron challenged!
So I’m not good with a curling iron, but I want curls that last. I have a nickel-sized burn on my forehead from trying to use my Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium curling iron the other day. Amazingly, my hair looked great, but my technique was really unsustainable. So I decided to give the Hot Tools Pro Silicone Hot Brush Styler a try. I’m so glad I did – the hot brush styler is a hair-curling dream come true!!First off, the styler works really well and is simple to use. Just take a one- or two-inch hank of dry hair and roll it up in the styler’s silicon bristles. The bristles DO NOT get hot, but they grab onto your hair and as you roll the styler, the bristles press your hair against the styler barrel, which does get nice and hot. So it’s practically impossible to burn your hand or your forehead! There’s also a plastic tip on the end of barrel, which makes it easy to twirl when you’re loading your hair onto the silicon bristles. The styler has a good temperature range and as I said before, it does get hot. I keep it around 300 or 320 degrees, and it works great on my fine, shoulder-length hair. Those silicon bristles really hold onto my hair, so I do need to be careful to unwind the curler from my hair, rather than just pull it out of the curl. All in all, I couldn’t be more pleased. If you’re looking for a new curling iron and want something super simple to use, check this one out. I’m still going to hang onto my Babyliss Pro, but the Hot Tools Brush Styler is definitely going to be my everyday styling tool.

    Adjustable heat dial
I like the adjustable temperature dial. I’ve had 2 other silicone brush stylers. Both only had 2 temperatures high and low. I needed to find one that lets me set the temperature which is what the Hot Tools brush styler. It works with my thinning hair.

I love how this makes my hair smooth and silky as …
I love the Hot Tool Product line of irons!!I especially like this Iron, because it’s very gentle on my long, fine hair. My hair is color treated, medium-long in length, (past my shoulders), so there is more risk for damage, which easily happened with other irons I’ve owned! I’m older, my skin produces less oil and my hair does not grow as fast anymore. Consequently, I treat my hair with great care! This iron has become an important part of my daily routine.I keep the temperature of Curling Brush just above 300 degrees, though the dial temp can be set MUCH higher! I read it’s not good to use really high temps when curling hair, as we risk drying out, breakage and burning the strands. My daughter has very long, very porous, thick-heavy or (FAT) hair. This iron does not work well for her needs, except to curl the ends.I try not to use much hair spray or styling product, or it will build up on any iron. As that occurs with this iron, I take a medium to soft bristle hair brush, and brush across and down the lines of bristles, (when the Iron is COOL) to remove buildup. (I wash my hair, once every 5 to 6 days, so there is plenty of opportunity for product to build up).I’ve found the silicone bristles last about a year before they will start to break off. Still, THIS curling brush is better for my hair. I don’t mind replacing the iron more often, because it is still a good value. The brush adds body, and depending on how long it is held in the hair, it will produce a smooth-loose curl, OR a tight-full curl to my longer hair. My hair is shiny when I use this iron.I do not burn my hands, neck or face when I use it!! I’ve been burned MANY times with other types of curling irons! I have scars to prove it! I have Arthritis in my hands, so many devices are harder for me to hold and manipulate, without dropping them or getting burned!Hope this helps you decide whether it is the right Iron for you! see lessAmazon Customer answered on April 2, 2018 | DeleteLeave a Comment

Bought new but didn’t get new.
First, I will say that I have used Hot Tools implements both personally and professionally and they are worth the money! I was excited to get this silicone brush. I have only one issue. When I took the brush from the box, it had hair wrapped around the barrel, a clear indicator it had been used. I am not returning it, because it is in great condition and a good quality product. I’m just disappointed that it was sent out as new and obviously wasn’t.

    Great product
This is the second one I have purchased and LOVE it. One thing you need to note: It is difficult to use the first couple of times as it does not flow through your hair. I believe it is a coating that has to heat off. I have noticed in reviews that this stops people and they return it. DON’T. This is gentle on your hair and is a really good long lasting product.

    Very disappointed….
I’ve been buying Hot Tools bristle curling irons for years. They were great! Heated up fast and curled well. This is the only Hot Tools bristle one I could find, so I ordered it…. The soft bristles are nice, but much harder to use because it grabs the hair and doesn’t move easily, and it is bigger in diameter than the metal one, so instead of a tighter curl, it makes a smooth loose curl. Not what I needed…. 🙁

I loved how gentle this felt on my very course hair. Unfortunately it broke when my niece used it, maybe not as robust.
