Best trimmer I have owned
I have had a beard for decades. This tool is lightweight but powerful. Many attachments make it a flexible tool. I only use a few, but they work well. Also great for personal grooming, no pinch, no fear!

The blades cut great. The guards are redundant.
The actual clippers are great. As are the other blade attachments. The body hair trimmer is much better than other brands. The body of the clippers are very ergonomic. Being able to wash them under running water is a plus.Butâ¦.Phillips Norelco didnât bother putting mush though into the cutting guards. They are just a pile of useless plastic because of the duplicate sizes. Itâs very unnecessary. Plus the labels showing the cutting lengths are barely legible because theyâre so small. The adjustable one just goes from 2-7mm. Then thereâs multiple 3,5,9 guards with different shapes, some intended for body trimming, others for the head, others for the face. Itâs ridiculous. Thereâs not enough variety. Having an adjustable guard with lengths from 1-10 or 12mm would be ideal.

Super strong, and LONG battery life
I’ve had this thing for months now….I think I’ve charged it 3 times? I use it 3 or 4 times a week. Good range of accessories, nice and sharp so no pulling or tugging (where that really counts). Actually very quiet as well! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

This trimmer does it all and does it well.The battery last for weeks on a single charge. It is quiet and being waterproof makes cleanup fast and easy. Just rinse it off.The nose hair trimmer works well.The body trimmer works better than any other trimmer Iâve used for my manscaping needs.The detail trimmer works as expected and the adjustable guard works great and is fast and easy to use.Also use the bare trimmer for weekends when I donât want to shave with a blade.

Not the best Philips Norelco trimmer
I’ll cut right to the chase: This is not the best trimmer Philips Norelco makes. The best one is the Philips Norelco Multigroom MG3750, which is about $40 cheaper than this one.I have owned several Philips Norelco trimmers including this one and the MG3750. While the full-metal build quality of this unit is unquestionably better, the motor of this trimmer is clearly weaker. Simply turning on both trimmers and listening to their motors reveals that this trimmer’s motor is not as powerful as the one on the MG3750. I experienced quite a few hair pulls on this trimmer which verified the weaker motor. The only advantage to the weaker motor is that the trimmer is quieter, and it probably helps provide the longer advertised battery life, but beard trimming takes twice as long and hairs are often missed. The MG3750 makes quick work of my beard every time. Yes, it is louder and has shorter battery life, but it’s so much more powerful.The only other potential advantage to purchasing this trimmer over the cheaper 3000 series Multigroom is that Philips provides many more attachments with this higher-end trimmer. You get a body hair trimmer, a small foil shaver, a few extra guards, and a small storage bag. But here’s the thing: I use a grand total of two guards for my beard and have used those same two guards for years. The additional attachments are not actually a value add for me. Where the real value comes is in the quality of the trimmer itself, and in practical use, it just doesn’t deliver.

Very good shaver
I’ve owned one of the multi-round head shavers for a while now and wanted to try this regular style out. It’s way better and made from metal and not plastic. Dropped it into sink of water, works fine.

It’s definitely not in over $100 range. All the sizes are pretty small and very close to each other. If you have a medium to long beard, this is not for you.
