Good body wash aside from one thing…
Scent: I think it’s quite pleasant with the mint in there. Not too overpowering.Effect on skin and nails: It’s a little hard to say definitively after going through less than one bottle, but I think it’s helped with a couple of skin issues. I think it’s fair to say that almost any tea tree oil soap will have this effect though given its antibacterial and antifungal properties, and this was my primary reason for buying this body wash.Lather: I found it incredibly hard to locate a tea tree oil body wash on Amazon that doesn’t have reviewers saying it doesn’t lather. I’m starting to think most of these people are the ones who use a washcloth. That kind of material definitely takes a high-lathering soap to avoid using large amounts of it. I use a plastic mesh loofah or my hand, and this body wash seems to lather just fine, with the exception of one issue explained below.Stickiness: This body wash produces the strangest texture on your skin after rinsing. Sticky isn’t exactly the right way to describe it – it’s more like high friction. Imagine dragging the bottom of your shoe across a tile floor. It’s kind of like that, as if your skin has turned into a squeaky rubber with no way of getting it back to normal without using another soap (no amount of rinsing changes this). This actually provides a small advantage during the shower because rather than being difficult to rinse off like some soaps, this one rinses off immediately, and I wonder if the manufacturer designed it this way intentionally. You could practically mist yourself with a spray bottle and would fall right off. But this actually causes a problem too, which is if you get water anywhere near the thing you’re applying it with (like a loofah), it rinses off so quickly that you end up needing to apply more and more to keep any lather going, otherwise it “runs out” and you’re left with that high friction rubber feeling as you try to push the loofah around. It’s for this reason alone that I have to remove one star and will not be using this body wash going forward. I’m actually quite surprised that I’m not seeing every single reviewer mentioning this weird stickiness problem. Go ahead and search for “sticky” under “Looking for specific info?” and you’ll see there are plenty of people talking about it, so I doubt I got a defective bottle. But there are also some people specifically saying it’s NOT sticky, so go figure.

I’ve only been using this soap for 2 days. The scent isn’t bad and the soap doesn’t lather much…however, I have never felt so clean. Not drying at all either.
