Legs as smooth as butter!
I have used the Venus disposable razors for several years now. I finally needed replace my last one since the blades were worn completely down and starting to rust (YIKES, right?!) When looking on Amazon I saw this one by Gillette. I liked that it wasn’t a disposable (less plastic for the landfill) and I really liked the price point. I thought I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did! The razer has a nice weight to it which I found refreshing after using the cheap disposable plastic kind of razors for so long. I was able to shave my legs in the shower using plain soap (I didn’t have any shaving cream at the time), but let me tell you- the soap worked great with this razor! Not a nick or cut anywhere and the blades glided over my skin so easily. The difference between this and a brand new disposable Venus razor? No comparison!!! Hands down, this razor is amazing and THE BEST razor I have every used! My legs have never been so soft and smooth after shaving. Could it be the charcoal infusion? I have no idea. I just know that I love this razor. This razor is a game-changer for me. I HIGHLY recommend it and would give it 6 stars if I could!

Sleek looking and feels great in my hand. Iâve used this brand for years and will continue to I wanted something that looked a bit less plasticky and more sophisticated, this is perfect. Little more weight to it than the others but it matches my new bathroom so itâs just what I wanted.

Delivered quickly, well packaged, attractive, great razor. Have used Venus razors for an age now and they’re great but bright colored kind of off looking razors in the bathroom that cheapen the whole look if I don’t keep hiding them away after use. This is quite beautiful and matches in well with other bathroom elements so for once (yay!) I can leave the razor out and it doesn’t look off or mismatched or cheap in the shower. Yay!I saw some comments about the blade packaging being open on the back, and it is, it’s not like Venus blade enclosed packaging I have purchased before, but that doesn’t bother me, they’re good blades, they are clean they aren’t used, I’m fine with the more open packaging in the back.Happy with purchase, would buy again.

I love everything about this razor. First and foremost, I was thrilled to find a Venus line razor with a metal handle. Despite the unnecessary amount of plastic packaging it comes in, the metal handle has weight to it and is wonderfully sturdy and of great quality; it really feels like it will last a lifetime and as such, I did not feel guilty buying it despite its more expensive price tag compared to the plastic Venus handles.As for the slipping that so many people have mentioned before me, I have not once had this issue. This handle actually sits in the hand very comfortably no matter what angle I hold it at, and overall I find it easier to grip than the plastic ones, thanks to the rubber pieces being placed in just the right areas.As for the blades themselves, to put it bluntly: I have never had a closer shave in my life. I only need to go over an area once and then I am on to the next. They leave my legs feeling beautifully soft and well moisturized; I have not had to apply lotion after shaving with the blades that this handle comes with. With that being said, I like that the attachment on the handle is compatible across the various Venus brand variety of blades. Although I can’t imagine myself straying from the ones that came in this package, it is nice to know that I would not need to buy an entire new set – I can pick whatever blades I choose. But that goes for any Venus handle you purchase.

AlRight so I’ve been using the same handle for about 4-5 years now. I just never ever thought if the factor of switching out the handle when I always give myself a fresh blade. Anywho my boyfriend decidws to get this for me and wow , just wow what a different in weight when it comes to just the handle part. I love it. Makes it easier to me way more accurate. Thanks

Amazing! I wasn’t expecting to find a metal handle! I’ve had my old, plastic Venus for years and finally dropped it on some tile the wrong way. It snapped and became somewhat dangerous to use. This metal handle is compatible with the heads I bought from Costco and seems very sturdy! The materials is environmentally friendly (even though the packaging isn’t) and it should last for decades!My only complain is that it’s heavier than the plastic one, but I think that’s expected!
