My journey to the perfect sleep mask!
I have always had trouble falling asleep, and if there is any light, impossible! I figured I would purchase a few of the top rated masks, try them out for a month, and see which mask works best for me. I purchased Dream essentials, Bedtime Bliss, Aurorae #1 sleep mask, and EyeSnug, and switched back and forth between them for a month. It soon led to only having to rotate between two of the masks, as two were removed quite quickly. I’ll start with Aurorae. It’s very soft, and feels nice against my face. Unfortunately that’s the only good thing I can say about this one. It didn’t fit my face well at all, and let in a lot light. It seemed small in size, like it didn’t cover enough of my face. I wore it once, and that was it. Next the EyeSnug. I liked this one. It was soft on my face, and it has the raised eye lids so they didn’t rub against the mask. It cover most, if not all of the light, and stayed in place. The only bad thing I would say, is that the straps were too long, and I had to fasten the Velcro at the very ends, which was bulky to sleep on. You get two masks with each order, so I would buy this again. Next Bedtime Bliss. I had high hopes for this one, with all the good reviews, but not so much. The good points this mask offers is the raised eye lids and contoured to my face ok. It let a lot of light in around my nose, and was sharp between my eyebrows. To the point where it left a mark on my face. I thought if I washed it a couple of times, it would soften……Wrong! And the Velcro ripped half off the strap, so it slides all over now. I think that it should last longer than 2 washes. Last, Dream Essientials. I liked this one the most. It fit my face the best, and kept all the light out. It has the raised eye lids, and is soft against my face. The only bad things I would say about it is, the straps are too long again causing that bulkiness. The straps also frayed after being washed two times, but minimally on the mask itself. This mask was the best choice for me, followed by the EyeSnug. As for the travel bags, they reflect nothing on the actual products, illbeit nice to have when traveling.

Perfect, exactly what I needed!
I have never had a problem with sleeping until a recent undiagnosed medical issue making me an insomniac almost every single night. I would stay up until 2-3 and wake up at 5:30 when my boyfriend alarm went off for work. I was exhausted. I bought this product along with Melatonin in hopes of regaining some sleep. The sleep mask came a few days before the Melatonin and it did such a great job by itself. Little night lights that would never keep me up before were making we restless and unable to pass out, same with the TV. I put this mask on the first night probably at 9:30 which at this point in my life was waaaay early to be going to bed. Within about 10 minutes I had passed out. Boyfriends alarm went off at 5:30 am – I briefly woke up and went right back to sleep. It’s great for mornings when the sun is coming up but I am still able to sleep in whereas before if it was bright in the room it meant for sure that I was awake for good. As well as mid day naps, it blocks out all light so I can finally get the sleep that I need. The mask is very comfortable and fits me perfectly. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night it is off of me somehow, not sure if it slides off while I am shifting or if I for some reason take it off without realizing it. It has velcro across the back strap that you can adjust. As far as how long it will last me, I’m not sure. I have had it for about 2 weeks so far and it is holding up fine. The ear plugs that came with it are horrible, but I didn’t buy this product for the plugs, just the mask. If you are having trouble sleeping with will be a god send. Don’t hesitate buying it, you won’t regret it. If it were to break in a couple months I would buy another one. A few $10 purchases a year is totally worth the excellent sleep this mask provides me.

Dream Essentials Eye Mask
I have been looking for a suitable eye mask for airline travel, which I do a lot between Europe and Florida. This mask it great, and blocks out all of the light. It is also light and easy to stow. It has, though, two design flaws that are hard to ignore, at least for an airline traveler.- The strap around the head closes by Velcro. The hard part of the Velcro faces out and the soft faces in (presumably to be comfortable against your head). The only problem is that the hard part of the Velcro that isn’t used sticks to everything else…like the seat-back, or the blanket, or the pillow. Every time your head moves, the mask is dislodges followed immediately by that loud Velcro ripping sound! It makes the GE CFM56-7B jet engines right next to me sound tame…- The strap is nearly an inch wide, and is elastic. It is just wide enough to start cutting into the tops of your ears after a bit.Both of these together are enough for a 3-star review. Otherwise, the mask itself works great!

Very happy with the mask1. Blocks most of the light.2. It is light weight and with adjustable band, feels relaxed on the face.3. Using it for almost a year, approximately once per week, without any problems. Fabric has not worn out or discoloured; the only sign of use is on the rubber band that has been petered out a bit.4. Ear plugs and case is a nice addition.Funny fact: When first time my girlfriend saw the mask, she almost did a scene, as the product resembles a bra and she thought that I was cheating on her; good thing that it spiced up my relationship a bit =D

I must admit that I was very hesitant to buy this sleep mask at first. I mean, just look at it. It is the kind of thing I’d expect sleeping comic book heroes to wear. But now I am so glad I did. I love it so much that I am actually going to buy a second mask since the price is so low that it is worth having a backup if something ever happens to the first one.I adore:* That it uses Velcro instead of just an elastic band to keep it in place* That the mask uses a wide elastic piece instead of a super skinny elastic piece that stretches out easily* That you hardly feel it on your face at all* That it completely blacks out the light.There is really nothing that I hate about this mask at all. The price is amazing and it works amazing. If you are looking for good sleep mask at a good price you’ll find it hard to go wrong with this one.

Diese Schlafmaske macht’s wirklich dunkel. Ich wohne in einer GroÃstadt an einer HauptverkehrsstraÃe. Nun ist nicht nur Lärm ein Problem, sondern auch die Ampel und StraÃenlaterne direkt vorm Schlafzimmerfenster. Auch die Jalousie sorgt nicht wirklich für Dunkelheit, was mich doch hin und wieder stört. Also begab ich mich auf die Suche nach einer Schlafmaske. Ich bereue den Kauf dieser Maske überhaupt nicht! Sie ist perfekt. Durch den Nasenbereich dunkelt sie wirklich gut ab. Sie drückt nicht auf die Augen, da sie in diesen Bereichen gewölbt ist, was es mir sogar ermöglicht, die Augen (fast) ungestört zu öffnen, wenn ich sie trage. (Das “fast” bekommt sie, da ich recht lange Wimpern habe, die es dann doch mal schaffen, beim Ãffnen des Auges, gegen die weiche Maske zu kommen)Der Gummizug ist gut und die Maske angenehm zu tragen. Rückenschläfer werden absolut zufrieden sein. Aber selbst ich als Seitenschläferin komme gut klar, auch wenn es manchmal 1 oder 2 Anläufe zur richtigen Schlafposition bedarf, in der die Maske dann nicht verrutscht oder knickt und doch ein klein wenig Lichteinfall entsteht. Augen zu und es ist dunkelste Nacht :)Hier gebe ich gern 5 Sterne.

The sleeping mask is well manufactured, but unfortunately its ribbon is too short and not adjustable for a bigger head like mine. The mold of the face/nose doesn’t fit certain types of noses so well.

devo dire che questo copri occhi da notte è il migliore che abbia mai acquistato, in quanto non comprime Gli occhi e maschera quasi totalmente dalla luce…rimane uno spiffero vicino al naso.subito a indossarlo mi stringeva un po’ il naso ma poi ho imparato a metterlo in modo che non mi desse fastidio.
