Pretty but slippery
My daughter and I really like this. Itâs a beautiful curling iron. It looks like something Ariana Grande would use. The cotton candy color and the modern style is super nice. The digital temperature reading is awesome. But in my humble opinion, the grip on the iron itself is very slippery and doesnât hold your hair very well to get a good curl. I have shoulder length hair and my daughterâs hair is a little bit longer. I think if you had really long hair to really wrap up, it would probably work better because the layers of hair would grip itself, but 2-3 wraps doesnât create a great grip. We kept it and just suffer through.

From the glow u Store I have long hair, so an extra long curling iron sounded great. And, in fact, the extra length helps me style the long tresses. The LED screen is so helpful; it shows you what temperature you have chosen and then the numbers start showing how hot the iron actually so you can see that it is heating up. My old hair tools didnât have such useful displays. This iron does take some getting used to since the whole device is larger than my previous ones. Though I like big waves, I have usually chosen curling irons with a narrower barrel because my hair is heavy and drags curls down. My theory was that if I started with tight curls, some curl would still be left after I gently finger combed them. I started using this curling iron before I saw the very useful video on the listing page. That video explains how best to use the iron. Even with my old techniques, this iron created nice, big curls that turned into nice, big waves when I combed them with my fingers. Ceramic irons are supposed to be healthier for hair and more forgiving. Iâm still getting used to handling such a large curling iron, but it is working very well.

Ok, y’all. Let’s talk about how AMAZING this curling iron really is! Not only does it look amazing with its unconventional color combos, but I LOVE that it has a larger 1.5″ barrel for those of us with longer hair. It curls the hair impressively well, as the temp settings allow for various hair types/textures to get to the proper working temp. Holds a great curl on my moderately wavy hair… in in Houston’s humidity. Great button location, and doesn’t allow you to continuously adjust the settings on accident (like many others I’ve used). I love that it has the zero-tangle swivel cord, as that’s a must-have for me! While it’s a pricey, I do believe it’s worth every penny! Great price when you consider the extended length and features. Very happy with the functionality and quality of this one!

I love tjis curling iron. My daughter has long thick hair and it takes forever with a regular sized iron. Woth this extra long barrel you can beautiful curls for those that have long hair.

Very long and very slippery
I like my new curling iron but, I am having to learn how to use it on my hair, as it is very slippery. I have medium length hair, so this iron is probably too much for the length. I love the color of the iron, and the fact that it has 10 heat settings. One thing I think could be improved on was the balance of it when sitting on the counter. It has a little stand but when you set the iron down on the counter, it tips forward so that the hot surface is touching the countertop. I wish this iron came in a shorter size, as I just don’t need the longer length.
