Good for low porosity 4c hair and itchy scalp
This product is something I always wanted but never knew could be possible. It works wonders for my itchy scalp and low porosity hair. Started to care for my hair seriously in 2023 and was looking for a hair ointment of some sort, but the random ones I would use throughout the years were lackluster. What I mean is that those wouldnât soften my hair, more like sit on it and make it unnecessarily greasy. So neglecting the possibility of a good pomade softening my hair, I focused on just soothing my scalp.This product is different, it makes my tough, low porosity, 4c Nigerian hair even softer and manageable, more than with my creams and jojoba oil alone. I use it as the oil in the LCO method. Itâs lightweight so it works for low porosity hair. I describe the feeling as âbutterâ, putting this on my scalp and hair after applying cream softens it more than I ever thought possible. Didnât expect this at all, but this surprise is welcomed.There is no problem washing it off, no buildup, no residue, it comes off as easy as it got on. Also, the scent isnât strong and it smells good. My mom also has tough 4c Nigerian hair, so Iâll recommend her use this and update this post with her results.When I opened and unsealed the container, the product was solid. To remedy this I just mashed it with a disposable spoon. I added a bit of jojoba oil and tea tree essential oil, the former is a wax that helps make my hair soft and the latter helps with scalp itch and dandruff. The product works great with or without added oils, this was just a personal choice.I recommend this pomade 100%. Consider buying this if your low-porosity LCO method needs a boost, or if you are looking for a lightweight remedy for scalp itch.

Smells good! Very soothing on scalp. Whether your hair is in its natural state or you perm your hair, this is a great thirst quencher for your hair. Itâs light but powerful.I recommend this hair oil.

Good product was doing everything I needed it to, but my edges needed a little more help. It started growing them and my middle which was weak also. I wanted to try a second container until a beautician told me this was very flammable and recommended something else, but over all I liked this product. I will use it for a back up. I did mix mine with suffer 8 for better results. Hair is soft, healthy, just the right amount of moisture it is not too oily, and it smells like suffer 8 to me so it smells good. I’m used to the smell. I have been using suffer 8 since middle school and I’m about to be 40.

I got this for my biracial daughter who needed some serious moisture in her hair. She wanted to press it, I put it in a clip with a bonnet over night and it looked so good the next morning. It worked so well I applied it to my hair, slept in it and my hair hasnât felt this silky in ages. It is a pretty true rosemary mint smell so it doesnât smell âprettyâ but itâs not a bad scent either. A little goes super far! Highly recommend for any hair type.
