I bought this based on an online video on how to groom a beard with a hair dryer.It’s a good product, it does leave a good “Hold” on your beard throughout the day, in that it does leave product on your beard to keep it controlled. Think of something like a hairspray, but not sticky or flaky, it just adds volume and thickness.It’s not waxy or greasy, but you know it’s there. The scent is mild and pleasant. I’m not Andrew Zimmern so I can’t give you some fancy description of what it smells like, but the scent is light and not heavy or soapy.. Like a light sage pine sweet smell.The scent doesn’t last all day, so that’s good too. Also, the sprayer emits the product in a very fine spray, so it’s easy to get even on your beard and you don’t waste any of the product. I usually spray it on generously, then I work it in, then I take a very rung, damp washcloth and really go over it to remove any excess product, then I towel dry my hair and do the style with the blow dryer to get the volume.

It worked great on my wifeâs hair
I purchased this for me to help add volume to my thinning hair. It did help my hair look fuller. But we found a use much more important than my hair. My wife was recently diagnosed with cancer, her hair began to thin some after chemotherapy treatments. It was clear it was bothering her, so I suggested we try Sea Salt Spray to see if it would help. We both noticed the increased volume after the very first treatment. Now she uses it and it really helps her, she feels much better and not so self conscious of her thinning hair. I know it says for men, but in our case, itâs been great for my wife. I surrendered my bottle to her gladly. This is not an endorsement for use on women, but in our case, itâs been wonderful.

Finally a spray that doesnât make my hair look greasy
This stuff is fantastic. I dont get light headed when breathing it. It keeps my hair in place. Has a nice scent. Best part is I dont have to wash my hair 2-3x to get the product out. It just goes away on its own. Also great if you shower before bed and have bed head in the morning when you get ready to go. Spray, comb, and go!
