Nice Kit But Nail Nipper Doesn’t Work
Overall high quality but was disappointed to find that the larger nail nipper (diagonal cutter) doesn’t cut nails at all. Looks like a high quality tool and nothing obviously wrong with it, but it simply won’t cut nails after numerous attempts on different fingers/toes. Improper grind angle? Replaced it in kit with old Revlon equivalent which still works. The glass file is rather nice, and scissors work well.

As a “tool guy” in day to day life, living by the mantra of “buy once cry once” and “you get what you pay for”, this unfortunately did not fit the bill on the terms of what I’ve seen when buying “german tools”. These aren’t particularly refined, higher quality, or more durable than a standard set of drug store tools in my opinion.Something I hate to say as a fan of German tools in general, this is forgettable and seemingly bland. I regret my purchase as I would’ve liked something that seemed like an upgrade over standard grooming tools for the money.I have no real complaints, nor do I have any compliments, the latter being a bad thing given the cost in my opinion.Save your money
