Precise application wand
Typically, my stumpy sparse Chinese top lashes (don’t get me started on my 5 bottom lashes) start smudging into Panda eyes. So far, I find it very easy to use this brush for very specific, dainty application, for which I really appreciate. A little goes a long way (at least, for me). I might try and build up to a clumpy lash look one day, but for now, my everyday runs natural rather than dramatic. I use an oil based make up remover and often times, the mascara is still stubbornly on (faintly). Other than that, no black smudges in public, which is a massive relief.

This mascara is worth the money. It doesn’t clump up like a lot of others do. Multiple people ask me what I use because it makes my lashes so long.The 4 star is because the tube doesn’t come sealed. That’s a little sketch. Also my last order, the wand brush was broken off. They were good about sending a replacement, I just need to send the other back. The mascara itself is easily a 5, the packaging made it drop to a 4.

I see a lot of people saying this runs too much or is clumpy. This is my third time purchasing this mascara after years of trying to find one I liked it. I’m a waitress who is in and out of a hot kitchen all day sometimes for 10 hour shifts. I have no clue why it smudges or runs with other people but I have never had that problem. It goes on great. It builds well. And I love the applicator/brush. My lashes dont work with the super bristly type wands so I love that this one is not in any way a fluffy wand. This will probably be my favorite for a long time. They did just change the look of the product and havent updated the picture so dont be surprised when you receive a mauve colored tube instead of the previous dark chrome look. It seems to be the exact formula just with a new look.

Dry and Clumpy
I wanted to try this Julep Length Matters mascara because of the videos showing how much longer your eyelashes can look.I’ve used this mascara 2 days now. The first day, I layered my lashes with 2 coats. My lashes stuck together to where I needed to use another eyelash brush to separate them. The mascara is very dry, does not go on smoothly. I did not remove my eye makeup when I went to bed. The next morning there are pieces all over my eyes. Day 2, I very meticulously applied 1 coat. Again, the mascara goes on dry and clumpy. Throughout the day pieces of mascara fell off. I am through experimenting with expensive mascara’s. I am 70 years old, have used the original Maybelline Great Lash since my 20’s. It’s 1/3 the cost and…it actually does what a good mascara does. Goes on smoothly, lasts all day with no pieces falling off, and does not drop off during the night.

Perfect for length without clumps!
I’ve been searching for years for a lengthing mascara that works as well as the old (and sadly discontinued) Cover Girl Lash Blast Length. This is it!! I have very sensitive, dry eyes, and any mascara that goes on too thick with clumps is just too heavy and irritates my eyes all day. This one provides the length I want, but goes on a bit dry (not TOO dry) so no clumps attach to the lashes. It is buildable though, so if I want more volume, I can put on more coats. If you are looking for length over volume, give this one a try!
