Life saver for dry winter skin!
My skin flakes and peels so bad in the winter. I’ve tried so many different moisturizing washes, oils, lotions. This serum is THE BEST.

Hydrating and clean feel
I have dry/combination skin and only get the occasional breakouts during certain times of the month (except for instant breakouts when I’ve had dairy). It’s hard to tell how effective this serum is since I’ve incorporated into my routine that includes a lot of squalane products (face wash, toner, Clear Slate serum, eye cream, moisturizer, rose oil). All together, my skin feels nicely hydrated and smooth. The serum absorbs quickly into my skin– it doesn’t feel sticky like some others mention, but I’m not sure if the skin type makes a difference … Mine tends to be primarily dry). The texture is thinner than moisturizer and has a pleasant “clean” scent– it’s not quite herbal, fruity, or floral… Just very natural?? I like it! Or also has several ingredients that recognize and I love to use: niacinamide, aloe, squalane. The presentation feels higher end with the frosted glass bottle and minimalist design. The pump is the only part I don’t love. I’ve been applying 2 pumps worth of serum in my face but that first pump always has a strong spray and ends up missing part of my fingers/hands and landing elsewhere.I think to see any sort visible effect, you’d have to use this on its own for a while. But I like that it’s easily incorporated into my regular routine and works with my other skincare products.

Not very potent
This came in a nice sized bottle for the price and you don’t need to apply a lot so it lasts a good while. It has a clean herbal scent that reminds me a bit of lychee jelly that I find to be pleasant. It rubs in very easily and leaves a bit of a sticky feeling behind that does go away once it’s completely absorbed. It feels nice when applied to the skin and it isn’t irritating, didn’t cause an allergic reaction in my sensitive skin, and seemed to be hydrating. That’s all the benefits I could see though. I used it for about a month and did not see any noticeable changes in my skin that I would expect from the ingredients listed. I have used other products with niacinamide and bakuchiol in the past and this one just didn’t match up. My guess is that there is a high concentration of other soothing ingredients in the formula that works like the sandwich method and reduces the potency. It might just take more time to notice a difference.

This arrives in a cute little box! Very eye catching! Now, remove this pump container and recycle the box.Begin with clean skin and hands. Then, pump a little of this into your palm. Gently disperse this over your face. Move slowly and carefully. Just get a really thin layer over your entire face (less is more here, so use a controlled amount). Give this a minute or two to absorb and begin to feel natural.I use this on my days off from work. I put my hair in a messy bun and added a thin layer of this to my face and neck. There is no burning or stinging; instead, this feels pretty nice on my skin and seems to improve overall clarity. I feel like after these last several days, my skin is more uniform and clear. Really nice!A genuinely effective product that doesn’t cause dryness or peeling (which is great!) Instead, this just yields much more healthy looking skin! Fantastic!

Clean-smelling serum, ok for sensitive skin
So far this serum hasn’t had much of an effect but also no adverse effects. It has a clean, not unpleasant smell, and feels nice on the skin. It layers well on my combo dry skin under other products like squalane oil and moisturizer. My skin tends to get more sensitive in the winter due to dryness and I have not experienced any burning or breakouts from using this. The branding is very cute and clean and very GenX, and the clear frosted bottle looks pretty in a medicine cabinet.

Nice serum, like the niacinamide
So far this seems like a nice serum. I’ve added it into my skincare routine, replacing my usual niacinamide. The formula has a whiteish color to it, and a very faint scent. There isn’t any added fragrance or parfum listed in the ingredients, so I assume the scent is from the natural ingredients. It has worked well with my moisturizer and other skin care products (toner, hyaluronic acid, moisturizer, once a week mask). I have combination to oily skin, often sensitive, and I don’t feel my skin is more oily using this product, and it has had no negative reaction. I’ll keep this in my skincare rotation and will be curious to see if I see any more results.

This serum feels very nice on my skin. It is lightweight, but has a sort of barrier feel, that is protective feeling. I really like the clean ingredient list and knowing that this is vegan and has not been tested on animals. The scent is sort of herbal, almost medicinal. Itâs not fragranced in anyway, with the exception of some oils. I also like that this is made in America. The packaging is super cute, and the pump makes this product easy to dispense. I have a very sensitive, aging skin and this is comfortable for me to use, morning and night as recommended.

Sodium Hydroxide
It came slightly opened and there was product coming out of the top. It smells slightly earthy/green it doesnât smell bad at all.The ingredients were fine, Iâm not fond of sodium hydroxide being in here. Iâm new to the scientific aspects of ingredients but this is used in some cleaners and everything says it should go on your skin because it can cause burns.However, if it is used as a soap itâs fine because of the chemical reaction saponification, which occurs between a fat, oil, or lipid with an alkali liquid to form soap.Iâm not 100% sure if this counts since itâs not a cleanser or face wash that gets soapy, but there are some oils mixed in??Itâs a nice consistency and feels good on the skin, it doesnât burn or anything I havenât noticed any reactions.
