Fun to play with even for adults
There are a lot more parts than is in the picture. My grandkids were playing with it, and some of the parts are in another room. But I love playing with it and writing different things on it.

Base tray is warped so one corner sticks up half an inch and the whole thing shimmies when you try to use it.

This is my first zen garden and I absolutely love it! It is a very nice size and comes with so many accessories so you can set it up however you like and change it around when you want. I added some healing crystals to mine and they look great. I originally wanted to have this on my desk at work, but I didn’t have enough room, so I ended up putting it in the center of my kitchen table for everyone to use. The tools are great and it is funny how easy it is once you start raking and making your own patters with the different tools in the sand and then realize that you have been sitting there for quite a while playing with it. Very calming!

Respectable Toy for Grown ups
I never really outgrew toys. My work desk is littered with fidget toys and little animals. This zen garden kit fulfilled a play need of mine that my current toys don’t. I never did get over playing with sand or making little scenes with playsets. This allows me to do that on a break from my work without looking like I’m losing it. Zen gardens are respectable stress relieving devices for adults.This particular zen garden is far superior to the others I’ve tried. It’s about twice the size for one thing, just a tad smaller than a standard sheet of paper. It comes with enough sand for a generous fill of the space. It comes with not only a rake, but another triangle rake, smoother, scoop, and a stick for detailing! There are so many tools for designing the sand. Then there are the props! There are so many options. The trees: one evergreen and one cherry blossoms in bloom are gorgeous and not cheap looking. There are two moss covered stones, plus three stacking stones. There are tiny sculptures: bridge, three koi, lily pads and flowers, a boat, a house, a cave thing, and a pagoda. There is a gold Buddha who likes to meditate in the zen garden The are infinite ways to arrange these props or not use them to create different scenes. It is relaxing to create little stories and designs. Once you’re done playing, the garden looks tranquil and nice sitting on the desk top awaiting for the next time you need to play. This is really a great set, much nicer in props, size, and sand quality than I have seen before. I have so much fun/relaxation with this set.
