Strong for a pomade but not a gel
I think this product looked great in my husband’s hair and the smell was lovely. It held well for a pomade (actually, much better than most pomades he has tried). His normal go-to is a gel based product and this didn’t hold quite as strong as that. But this certainly had the better smell!

Good, but just way too expensive for what it is
I have used a ton of pomades. This works about as well as others I have used, but my biggest issue with this is that it is just very overly priced. The hold and longevity is fine, but I have a hard time understanding how this is worth the extremely high premium of $24-25 or currently $7.20 per ounce. I always look at the per ounce price because they all come in unique size containers. The way this works in my hair reminds me very much of Tenax pomade, but costs almost twice as much per ounce. It is good stuff, and I would definitely use it again, but not for the current price.

No more stuff oily hair
Maybe itâs because itâs water based but this stuff has been so beneficial for my hair. It doesnât leave my hair oily while also sticky and caked together like other pomades. Smells great and a little goes a long way.

My husband prefers pomade for his thick wavy hair. Doesnât make hair sticky or hard. Keeps hair in place. Had a strong scent but not unpleasant. Too much product does cause flakes by the end of the day.

Very strong hold!
This pomade is definitely the strongest hold I have found in a hair styling product yet. It is definitely much better suited for those who style their hair back, and like the glossy finish. The product was easy to clean out of my hair with water in the shower. It doesn’t leave any lasting odor or damage to my hair, so I am able to use it for certain occasions without committing to the hair style permanently.

Strong hold indeed, a bit difficult to spread through hair
I have very curly hair that for a long time I used gel to tame. I had more or less given up on even using products. My barber recommended I use a water pomade. Trying the CrazyBull pomade I found it held the hair very well for the entire day. My wife also liked the smell of it which is super important. This is compared to some of the competition pomaded that smell more like deodorant which my wife wasnât a fan of. This pomade smells more like cologne. My only hesitation on this pomade is the thickness of it. The instructions on the jar read to use a dime size amount but in my experience it was difficult to spread through my hair (even when slightly wet) and so I ended up needing to use more. I assume it holds so well because of how thick it is.

New favorite for styling sonâs hair
Wow, this stuff is amazing! Iâve been using American Crew extra strong hold gel on my sonâs thick hair but tried this in his hair while on vacation. It works awesome! I love that the hair doesnât get wet, which makes the style look too clumpy. This pomade provides the perfect balance of texture and hold, plus it continues to be moldable, which is another plus. The resulting style is natural looking when you donât use too much. If you want a more textured look, use more and it will look styled. I also like how easily it washes out. This is good stuff!
