Great Product
Great product as the Vit C is in the ascorbate form which is better absorbed vs citric acid, without the sodium or sugar that other products contain. The Lemon Lime is my favorite. I usually add a little natural lemon & lime juice to kick up the flavor a bit and itâs delish! Tried the Blood Orange but was not a fan, although many people like it. Be sure to follow the directions for use & storage to maintain the integrity of the product. I had no issuesðð¼ Great Vit C supplementâ£ï¸

I keep it always on hand it’s a life saver
Excellent product. I was hours away from an ER visit for severe constipation, and decided to try a a vitamin c flush instead. It was unpleasant and very painful (sorry for the graphics) but not as painful as stimulant laxatives or enemas, or, heaven forbid, surgery. I was fortunate. That prompted me to research of course, because I’m not normally a constipated person and figured I’d better try to figure out what was going on. I’m glad I did. My proton pump had stopped working (I’m 58 and female) and my liver and gall bladder decided they wanted some time off too. And while my stomach was dutifully churning up my food and pushing it into the duodenum and small intestine, I suspect there were disgruntled rumblings there also. Yep, factory wide shutdown. To make a long story short, I got everyone back to work and at the risk of sounding REALLY dramatic, I feel like the vitamin c flush saved my life, or at least the misery of ER treatment and cost. It’s also just a great way to get your daily vitamin c, especially if you get seasonal allergies, which was the original reason I bought it. Very helpful in that area as well. A word for the wise: if you suffer from frequent indigestion after your meals and you have IBS and/or other digestive/elimination issues please refrain from antacids and especially proton pump inhibitors until you’re CERTAIN you actually have too much stomach acid versus too little. Look up how to do the home test for low stomach acid and try that first. Betaine HCL supplements are very inexpensive and the information on how to get a lazy proton pump working again is readily available. I’ve had tremendous success so far. Also: if you do have low stomach acid you probably also have (gasp!) gut parasites! Deploy the exterminators, lots of great products there as well. As you’ve probably gathered if you’re still reading this, I prefer to treat myself whenever possible. While it’s not for everyone, if you’re the intrepid type I sincerely hope this info helps.

Cost effective high dose Vitamin C
This buffered Vitamin C is a wonderful way to take high doses of bioavailable Vitamin C. The taste is slightly sour and bitter, but mixed with juice it’s not bad. You can get much of the same benefit you get from Emergen-C but without the added ingredients. It has 4 grams (4,000 mg) of Vitamin C per teaspoon, so it is also much less expensive per 1,000 mg than Emergen-C. Health benefits of high dose Vitamin C are well documented. We use it at my house to knock out any viruses like colds or flu that are trying to take hold. It is also useful for a bowel flush. […]Update: Beware- I had this sealed bottle go bad on me. It somehow absorbed moisture from the air and became a solid discolored mass in the bottom of the bottle with about half the powder remaining. Revising my star rating accordingly. I do live in an environment where humidity is high in the summertime, but I never expected to lose half the product this way. Still a good product, but if you live in a place that gets humid, you might want to seal the bottle in a bag with some rice to absorb moisture.

I have been using this for so long. I feel kind of guilty that I havenât written a review. I have always found that the crystal form of vitamin C is not very palatable. But this is quite doable and I just put it in some water every night and another 5000 during the day and it works. My friendâs functional medicine doctor actually recommended this to her so thatâs how I started using it in the first place.

No GMO from corn, yay!
I searched long and hard to find a Vitamin C powder that is not made from corn, most of which has GMOs. This powder makes it easy to take high doses of vitamin C easily to ward off illnesses. When I feel like I’m getting sick it has stopped my symptoms within a day (I ‘ll take 1/2 tsp every four hours or so until I feel well again). It seems easily absorbed since it works so fast and reliably. I take it to bowel tolerance or until my symptoms are gone (and I do notice that I can tolerate more vitamin C (before getting loose stools) when I’m sick, so I’ve learned that taking it to bowel tolerance is really an effective way to use it. When I’m feeling well I just take 1/2 tsp per day. Can’t say enough good about this. I think it even helps with COVID since it worked every time I’d start to have symptoms (cough, light-headedness, fatigue, increased heart rate) after going to the grocery store or being around people during the pandemic. This, along with nebulized hydrogen peroxide (3% food grade diluted 50% with saline water) once or twice during the day may have saved me from getting sick with COVID. Too bad health authorities don’t tell people about this and nutrition/lifestyle/herbs that can help COVID. I do take the bioflavinoid quercetin with it as well.
