My holistic doctor chastised me for not getting enough sleep. I’ve always been a night owl and I couldn’t imagine “going to bed early.” He had recommended melatonin to help me with my wakefulness, so I tried these. I took 5 of the 20 mg tablets about half an hour before going to bed, and I found it was much easier to go to bed and stay asleep. They help make me sleepy at bedtime, but there are no side effects like grogginess the next morning.Since they work well and are very affordable, I’ve continued using them and they are great. I’ve ordered refills many times now (going on more than a year) and even bought some for friends who had trouble sleeping. I like things that are natural, no drugs, and that’s this product. My friend said it didn’t help him, but maybe his difficulty sleeping was worse than mine. I have gone from going to bed at 3 am to going to bed at 11:30 pm and that’s given me more hours of sleep each night, which is good for my health!

I like having the higher dose so I only have to take one pill.
this works well for me and my husband. I use no more than 20 mg because I fainted one night when I used 40 mg. and had to get up to let the dog out. My husband uses more than I can.

20 mg of Melatonin are a great deal as you can take 1/2 or even a 1/4. They work great. We both sleep well with these. After years of working odd shifts, our sleep habits were not the best. It is great to sleep through the night since we are retired!

Pros : Very fast acting. I have a very hard time falling asleep & was jetlagged severely after flying back from the EU to Singapore. This worked like a charm in terms of falling alseep.Cons : I did wake up after about 4-5 hours every night. But I just fall back asleep so not a super con but just something to keep in mind. Make sure you drink plenty of water the next day.Of course I do not intend to take this regularly – but it is godsend if you are jetlagged! Recommend this product 🙂
