Excellent quality and performance.
Helped relieve my itch on my scalp from shingles.

Effective, good value
I found this effective. In addition, while I was a little surprised that it was as thin as water, I found that just a tiny bit was enough per wash. So the bottle wound up lasting much longer than I had expected when I first poured it, and thus turned out to be a good value purchase.

Packaging isn’t appropriate
This is very thin fluid and goes everywhere. If you’re like me you’ll spill 1/4 of the bottle right after you open it. If it were in a bottle with a small nozzle it would get more stars from me. Having spilled more than I used on half the occasions I’ve opened the bottle makes me regret the purchase. The real question is does it work? To be honest I don’t know, like most people who have the type of skin condition that requires this you’ll have good or bad days due to diet and hygiene. I feel like I see improvement if I eat right. When I eat things I shouldn’t no shampoo is enough. So does it work, does it help? Probably in a regiment where this is cycled with other products in an appropriate regiment and dosage. I think I’ve used more than necessary due to the bottle most of the time. If you do choose to buy this product do yourself a favor and buy a better bottle with a small squeeze tip that securely closes and you’ll probably be happier than me about it.

Too early to tell.
I like the foam and the coolness on skin. It works for a few hours but thus far has not had long-term results.

Helps reduce the itch!
Iâve been using this shampoo for about a week and my scalp feels so much better. I have oily and itchy scalp and have had so most of my life, so I am thankful I found Cosalic. I saw some reviews that said it was a little runny so as soon as I received it I put it in a spray bottle. It works great, I spray it directly on my scalp, it lathers up just fine. I havenât been to a doctor for a diagnosis or prescription but this works better than any over the counter shampoo I have ever used. And thatâs a lot.I wanted to add to this review because after using almost the entire bottle of shampoo I had started to realize I had a lot of breakage in my very thin and fine hair. I first noticed there was lots of hair on the drain and in my hands. Then thought my hair felt thinner on the ends. And after examining it I saw that my (all one length) 14 inch long hair had sections that were 3, 4 and 5 inches long. Breakage in mid strand. I discontinued using it. Cut my hair, changed shampoo and itâs growing back nicely.

Product runs out like water and lid leaks! You can’t pour it in hand to pour on hair!
This product is awful. It runs like water so opening is too large and ends up more pouring out of hand! The lid leaks if it tips over there goes all your shampoo! Who the hell thought pure watery shampoo is a good idea?

Do not treat scalp dandruff.
tried at least one month and not really working. Smells heavy gasoline and dried hair.

Wonderful!
I have scalp psoriasis, and this put me into almost complete remission. Which is just remarkable. It took two years of trial and error and pain and discomfort and embarrassment to get here. I now only have to wash my hair a couple times a week (I have very dry, curly hair), and I use this each time, but not as normal shampoo. I shampoo with regular shampoo first, then with this, then do conditioner. It works way, way better than my last scalp treatments I was using. They were coal tar and salicylic acid separately, and had to sit for several minutes. So it took a lot more time, I had to use them both no further apart than every other day, and they didn’t work nearly as well as this. I noticed a massive improvement the very first time I used Cosalic. I immediately put it on subscribe and save!

I’ve been looking for a substitute for Alphosyl since it was discontinued. My psoriasis has become really bad since Alphosyl went out of production & I’ve used all the usual suspects without success. This product hasn’t worked a miracle but its gradually getting things under control again. It comes sealed in a bottle with a thick stopper that needs to be pierced with a stiff pointed object to access the contents. Take your time making the hole so it doesn’t squirt in odd directions. Its more of a thin lotion rather than like a regular shampoo, you donât need a lot similar to Alphosyl. Don’t expect miracles but it is definitely helping me after spending a fortune on other brands that in some cases made things worse. Hope it can work for you too.

Given 4 stars, though would rather give 3.5 if that was an option. Great to have the 2 ingredients I’m looking for in the same product, though doesn’t work quite as well as a mixture of the 2 shampoos I used previously (MG217 Coal Tar & MG217 Salicylic Acid Shampoos). The consistency of the shampoo is also quite thin, so you pour it into your hand and half of it falls on the floor. Also the bottle is a screw cap which is a bit of a pain rather than a squeeze bottle which would be a lot better.
