Great nail prep tool
This is more of an at home use one vs the one you would see the nail ladies using but it still works good. Someone who recommended it to me said it was great for prepping your nails to use prior to putting on press ons. I don’t use press ons myself but I still wanted to give it a try. I feel like this is a great starter tool if you are trying to get used to doing this at home. This to me would be better to prep your own nails and not so much for acrylics. More like different heads to buff your nails. I definitely like the ease of use and the carrying case to keep it in. My only complaint is that when you insert the nail heads into the machine it doesn’t seem to have an end point. So it lets you push it all the way in, making some of the tools more difficult to use. But if you pull the tool out a little, it still works just as good and easier to use. It won’t become loose as you use it either, so don’t push it in all the way.

Good for a beginner
I just got it in today, and used it this evening. I charged it about an hour and a half before using it. It’s okay. You can’t apply much pressure or it will stop rotating. In a way that’s good though, because it forces you to use a lighter touch and slow down a bit. If you’re an experienced manicurist, I could see that being quite annoying. For me, it’s nice since I’ve never used this type of tool before. It lights up as well, which makes seeing what you’re doing a lot easier as well.

Stopped working at almost 2 years.. occasional usage.
I’ve had this ‘almost’ 2 years and it just completely died. Is not recharging at all . (I did try different cables that were charging other items) I used it just now and again, so not heavy usage at all. It worked well to take top coats off from salon, use polish remover, then buff and file. I’ve probably used it 15-20 times in all? It did stop spinning if you applied too much pressure when filing nailing ends, but that is probably a good thing to keep you from over filing or breaking a nail. I liked using it.. shame it died. Not sure if I’ll replace it with same or check others now.

I was sent a used product
This is going straight back – I was really looking forward to getting this mani-pedi tool, so I’m not just disappointed by what I got. I’m thoroughly disgusted by what I got.It was my understanding I was buying and would receive a NEW, UNUSED “Finishing Touch” mani-pedi tool w/accessories. However, I got the shipping box open, revealing the product in its own box, and immediately saw the sides of the box were oddly bowed out. I also found marks from some kind of liquid that had dried inside the clear plastic top of the package and some mild smudging on the back. However, the big tip-off that I got a used product was that the stickers had clearly been peeled halfway off, then carefully rubbed back in place. I unboxed the product myself to confirm it wasn’t my imagination that it could be opened, then made to look unopened; it turned out to be ridiculously easy. Inside, I found lint, dirt, more stickers that had been partially peeled off and then re-affixed, a nick out of the edge of filing tool, little tears in the paper around the power cord, crumbles in the product’s paperwork, and the ring below the light on the tool was crooked and detached from the base on one side. I pressed on it and it snapped almost completely back into place. It appears the first owner broke it, repackaged it poorly, and then it was sold again as though it had never been sold before.I’m really angry about receiving a beauty product that’s USED after paying for one that’s supposed to be new. I do 90% of my shopping online because I have a genetic immune deficiency, so getting a used, DIRTY product isn’t just gross. It’s DANGEROUS to me. How and why anyone would resell a USED product that is DIRTY, as if USED isn’t bad enough, during the age of Covid is beyond me.

This is a great item for maintaining toe nails.

Love this little tool! Gives amazing results on hands and feet. Easy to use. Removes ridges on nails and does a nice job on cuticles too. Very happy with my purchase.
