Just What I Was Looking For!
I “gifted” myself the Palm Skull Shaver for Christmas, and it was just what I was looking for in a shaver. The Palm was easy to use. The quality of the shaver comes through whether I do a dry or wet cut. It is easy to maneuver over my head. The shaver cuts the hair without pinching or pulling, holds the clippings, and cleans easily using running water. It works just as advertised! The Palm Skull Shaver for me, was a very good purchase and I’m hoping the unit will last for a long time. S. M. Johnson, Moraine, OH.

Two month review
I waited for a few months to review. This shaver is excellent with some considerations. I went with the palm because I’m not big on celebrity branding and don’t want some other dudes name on products I use regularly. It works great, battery life is great, it’s a good close and if you take your time a smooth shave. That being said, the longer you wait to use it the worse it preforms. If used daily it’s awesome in less than 2 minutes. If you wait to the fuzzy stage for me over two to three days you’re gonna need 5-10 minutes or you’re gonna be patchy. I use it dry then put a little water or aftershave then finish off for a smooth shave. KEEP IT CLEAN! After each use knock the stubble out of it and your next shave will have you thanking yourself. Kinda sucks around the ears like any shaver so check yourself.

Works well, but cleaning the shaver is a nightmare
The shaver definitely works and it’s pretty easy to use, too. I can probably shave my head in 5-10 minutes without any problems. For that I can give this product 5 stars. Easily.But cleaning it afterwards is a nightmare. What they show you in their ad about cleaning where it’s supposed to be as easy as just dipping the razors portion of the shaver into the water and then just turning the motors on to self-clean couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m literally spending more time on cleaning the thing than I do on actual shaving. And I still can’t clean it good enough. So it’s obvious that you basically need to repurchase the razors every 1-2 months if you want your shaver to be efficient. Now, when you look at the price of their replacement razors, this things gets pretty expensive really quick. For that and for the cleaning nightmare that it is I can’t give this shaver more than 3 stars.P. S. Dealing with the company/seller is also not a positive experience. By chance, my first purchase of this shaver ended up being a used product, which I naturally wanted to return and get the actual brand new unit I ordered. I contacted the company/seller about it and they couldn’t have been more disinterested to help me with my issue. Thankfully Amazon stepped in and immediately solved the problem. Just another thing to be aware of.

The closest to zero cut I got from a machine, now they are not as good as the previous versions
I have to say I was amazed by the first time I used this little machine. My first impression after unpacking was very positive. The product looks shiny black and very well made. It is right on the weight you need for a shaving task. The blades look very neat, perfectly made. And the battery once charged can last enough for more than a week. If your goal is to keep an almost bald appearance you should use the shaver every 2-3 days. Don’t recommend trying on longer hair on your neck for instance. I got the hair pulled out badly in this zone leaving me painful red marks. The machine works great on your hand, ergonomics are very well designed. They have a lot of information online about the way you should use the shaver. And I really like is zero hair mess.Something negative is that I didn’t like the nose attachment, it made a loud noise right after starting. And sometimes the blades do a weird noise as well as starting the shaving task. I feel I found a very good product for keeping my head almost bald.Update 01/2023: I kept using this shaver until the batteries dried out and decided to buy a new one. My old good Palm Skull Shaver was made in RCC, but the new models are made in China. The country of origin is the only difference I can find between them, but the old ones are much better. I received a defective shaver twice and all has to do with the batteries or the functionality that turns the red light when it needs to recharge. The machine just tunr off and the light is still green for a while until it dies.Update 04/23: The third machine I got due to replacements is having the same issue dying without letting me know anything about the battery status. I just gave up and fixed my old one.

I decided to move to a skullshaver after using a trimmer for many years.Assembly and usage very easy and intuitive – took me a couple times to get used to the new way of shaving and the smooth output, but it delivers exaclty what i need.
