Worth a try
I like Cantu for my curls as it does not leave a white residue. It does feel stiff when dry but it locks out humidity. I do think it weighs the hair down and is why I do not use it every day anymore. I think it is pricey in the store but more reasonable here. You would have to try it and determine if it is good for your hair type. I think my son has a better grade of hair than me and the product gives me better curls. The product is slippery when washing out in the shower.

My son has very curly hair. No matter what I used his hair even a day after washing would matte together.I tried multiple products both expensive and inexpensive in search of anything that would help keep the moisture in his hair and stop it frizzing and matting together. I came across this and its been amazing his hair is soft and hasn’t matted once since using. Its smells beautiful too i cants recommend enough for curly hair.
