Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Plumping Clicks | Hydrating, Dewy + High Shine Color

So I’ve always been a bit hesitant and nervous to try any lip product from Too Faced because I’ve heard they hurt. Like most lip plumpers kind of tingle, but the Too Faced ones actually hurt. Well color me surprised! This didn’t hurt AT ALL!Yes, there’s a slight burn, but it’s nothing like what I was expecting. So I’m very happy I got to finally try a Too Faced lip product. I LOVE the color I got. Voted Most Popular is a beautiful, sheer hot pink.I love lip gloss and lip oils, so I love the glossiness of this. The quality is really good, you get a decent amount, and it smells good. The price point isn’t terrible for a Too Faced product, it’s pretty on par. So I’m not deducting a star for the price. I’m deducting a star because I really didn’t notice anything plumping effect.Overall, it’s still a good glossy lip product. I love the color and the shine. I’m definitely considering purchasing different lip products in the future. I would recommend!

Sheer & Spicy
I’ll start off saying I really do like this product, I think it just falls a little short of what is depicted in the listing.I got what looked to be the darkest, most pigmented color–Feeling Spicy. It’s not nearly as pigmented as the photos show, it actually reminds me a lot of the famous Black Honey and is much more hydrating and comfortable than that one. It works well over liner or lipstick so you can make it more impactful if you wanted and use this more of a gloss/balm over top.It does have a spicy tingly warmth that lingers, I don’t consider it very strong but if you are sensitive you might. I’ve had the Lip Injection Extreme before and this isn’t that spicy. It’s also not the most plumping, it does make my lips a little fuller and smoother but not as plumping as other ones I’ve used like the Buxom one.The click pen is cute and heart shaped, I really like this format for lip products. The formula is a very moisturizing, non-sticky balm/gloss hybrid. If you like the warm feeling it is very comfortable and hydrating.

I’d give this five stars for how much I enjoyed it, but since it doesn’t quite match the product description, I think others would be disappointed in plumping ability and color, but would find it pleasing in other ways.It is SO hydrating without being sticky, slippery, or smearing all over like some click lip products. It stays in place, and feels like a vaseline application (it also “tastes” like it – that waxy sensation in the back of the throat, though the scent is a little…chocolatey?).There was only a hint of tint to this, so I wouldn’t call it a gloss where the color appears on the lips as it does in the swatch. Instead, it adds an overlay to the lips, like a tinted lip balm would.I like that my lips don’t continue to look “glossy” but instead hydrated with sheen.I didn’t get a plumping effect, but I think the idea is that the thickness of this fills in lines. It mentions there could be a tingling sensation…barely? Like maybe if I put ground pepper on something and a little got on my lips. Which I liked, because I HATE that sensation…but that means that there is no real plumping going on.I continue to wear this everywhere – night care, daytime out, under lip pencil or even before very matte-like lipsticks (it worked great under a creamy bronzer/blush stick).I love it, but it won’t meet the expectations provided.
