Do not use for tie dye projects
The pillow cases are very nice and soft. If you are looking for basic white pillow cases these will work out just fine. They wash beautifully and if you add a little bleach they end up completely white again.BUT if you wanted to make bulk tie dye pillow cases DO NOT use these. The blend will not take or hold colors. We used two different brands of dye and neither one would hold the vibrant colors in the cases. Photos are of attempt number two and three. First attempt we had yellows, green and oranges in perfect sections. All the colors washed right out.We followed the directions to the T and washed with setting agents. At the end we even tried to take the pink/purple pillowcases that we mostly ended up with to splash with bleach. In the wash – we got white again.So the good news is that you can keep these perfectly white all the time if that’s what you want!
