Significant Improvement After One Week
Amazon doesn’t let me write the “A” word in my reviews, so I will simply refer to it as “A.” I have been using this set for cheek A that has persisted on one cheek for 5 months now. One A bump will go away, and then another will pop up. After they have healed, they leave behind redness that stays for months & months. I have been using this set for a week, and am already seeing an improvement in the whole situation, so I think I can now say that this set is working for me.The cleanser is the foam type, which isn’t my favorite because I don’t find they work great when I am wearing make-up, so I have been doing a double cleanse. I use an oil cleanser first, and then this cleanser. The toner is a drying type – it is alcohol-based, but guess what? It picks up dirt like you wouldn’t believe. I cannot believe the amount of dirt and make-up this toner is able to grab onto when compared to other toners I have used. I have been really impressed with it. The lotion serum is sulfur-based, and yes, it has a metallic slightly eggy smell, but I actually don’t mind it … especially because it is working.I have seen such an improvement after just one week of using this set – I have to recommend it!

Easy to use, maybe not for everyday though
UPDATE:I’m so upset that they’ve changed the lotion! That was the best part and the only part I was willing to repurchase. Now it’s like every other kit AND it bleaches clothing. :(—————This three step kit is comparable to others but I love that it doesn’t have any bleaching ingredients, so I don’t have to worry about my clothes or bedding.The toner is pleasant, but I couldn’t use it everyday. I had to take a break…same with the face wash. But I can use the sulfur based lotion everyday—or as-needed if I’m taking a break from the whole system. That’s my favorite part of the whole kit.The foam is nice but I have to pump quite a bit out to really get a good wash. When I use the toner I find I need to use more than one cotton pad for some reason. Maybe it’s just getting a lot more than I’m used to. And the lotion rubs in easily. (Not sure why others don’t agree…it’s not unlike most sulfur lotions.)My only other issue is the size of the items––for example, the toner is much smaller than other OTC ones and didn’t seem filled all the way. I think it would go quickly, leaving me with just the two other steps in the kit. For that reason it’s not the best value, but overall I really do like the way my skin feels in terms of texture and clarity.

Quality control is a miss.
This kit is very much the same song and dance of the early 2000s, now with a foaming wash that leaks through the box. The elements are all there- a basic salicylic acid cleanser, a scorched-earth alcohol heavy drying toner, and the smelliest treatment lotion you could possibly have. The active ingredient sulfur leaves a very “old egg” scent that never *quite* fades away, and the lotion barely absorbs into your skin. Be advised: if you’re going to try this as an overnight treatment- your pillow will reek of sulfur in the morning. It’s very reminiscent of the “burn your face off with alcohol and hope for the best” high school days of the 90s. There’s no follow up lotions or serums for repairing your skin either.

Didn’t seem to work
We tried this for a while and the acne didn’t clear up. I’m not sure if it’s because the product isn’t great, or if it’s because of other factors not related to our use of the product. But the fact remains that we did not see results.That said, everything felt super high quality from here – from the box and packing (which felt “premium” and nice, for example, as a gift) to the product itself (which was non-irritating and came in a surprisingly large container). The only issue is that it didn’t work for us.
