Is Scotch Porter Beard Gro Accelerator Truly Vegan-Compliant?
Scotch Porterâs Thick & Full Beard Gro Accelerator is marketed as a serum designed to enhance beard growth and thickness using natural and scientifically backed ingredients. It prominently highlights its commitment to vegan and cruelty-free standards, but a closer look raises questions about whether the product meets strict vegan compliance criteria.Does the Product Advertise as Vegan? The product description claims it is vegan and cruelty-free, which suggests it avoids animal-derived ingredients and does not involve animal testing. However, the lack of an explicit certification or detailed breakdown of ingredient sourcing leaves room for ambiguity.Ingredient AnalysisKey active components include:Capixyl (5%): A patented blend containing peptides and red clover extract. While plant-based, the processing methods of Capixyl peptides may involve non-vegan additives or enzymes unless explicitly verified.Caffeine: Commonly plant-derived and likely vegan, though its sourcing is unspecified.Rosemary Extract: A plant-based ingredient commonly used in vegan formulations.Other additives (e.g., stabilizers, emulsifiers) and the manufacturing process are not detailed in the product information. These areas could potentially involve non-vegan substances, such as glycerin from animal sources or cross-contamination.Daily Cost and UsageThe serum costs $14.99 for a 1-ounce bottle, making it $14.99 per fluid ounce. The label does not specify how much product should be used daily, so estimating cost per use depends on individual application preferences. Assuming the bottle lasts a month with daily use, the cost would average around $0.50 per day.ConclusionWhile Scotch Porter markets this product as vegan and cruelty-free, the absence of a certified vegan logo and the lack of transparency around secondary ingredients and manufacturing practices leave its vegan compliance uncertain. Consumers seeking 100% vegan products may wish to contact the manufacturer directly for verification. At $14.99 for a monthâs supply, the product is reasonably priced for its category, provided it aligns with ethical and dietary standards.

Whitely scented
One of the main things I like in any beard serum is for it to smell good. This one does not smell bad, but the scent is very very light. The serum itself is also very thin, but it integrates into the beard nicely. I have a very long beard Almost down to my sternum, but as a blind guy, sometimes it feels thin to me, even though I canât see it. The boss always tells me she thinks it looks nice and full and nice. So anyway, I got this stuff to try to thicken it up and I can tell you that it seems like Thereâs not as much falling out when I brush it and it does feel to me light when itâs in my beard, the beard feels thicker. Not sure if itâs growing faster but like I said, Iâm blind and I cannot really see the length and it grows pretty fast anyway. If you are looking for a serum to thicken up your beard a little bit this feels like it does that in my opinion the other claims I cannot 100% tell you, but the light sent and the way it moisturizers your beard quickly without a lot left on your hands is pretty nice. I would recommend it.

Beard Promoter
I’ve been growing my beard so, I am always on the lookout for new things to try! I like the fact that this product came in a spray bottle and I can smell the rosemary. It’s fresh and soothing throughout the day. I usually spray a few drops around my beard area and then massage it for a few minutes until I know it’s soaked in. Twice a day, one in the morning and one at night.

A Month Later ð¤·
It’s been about a month since I started using this. It does help keep my skin from drying out underneath. No more of that beard dandruff. That is a solid plus .. but as for new growth, or even thicker growth. Nope, not seen any change at all. I am pleased that it is odorless, so many of these beard products have an overpowering scent, even when they say they are odorless. This one actually is odorless, that plus the moisturizer capabilities, I may continue to use it for that alone.

This one’s a keeper.
Gel-like substance provides an instant pick me up for facial hair. Why this product is so good? Contains no alcohol. Ingredients seem to stimulate the hair follicles. I really like this stuff. I brush it into my beard and have a noticeable difference.

Not Much Change
After using this product once a day for about a month, I can’t see that I’ve experienced thicker beard growth. Maybe if I applied it twice a day I’d have expedited growth, but there’s nothing in the instructions on the bottle that suggests that as an option. So, I’ll just have to be content with the status quo. Although it’s supposed to be scent-free, I detected a very subtle scent that’s nice. For those of you keeping score, here’s the breakdown:Scent- C+Effectiveness- CValue- COverall Grade: C

hair growth booster
I have not heard of capixyl before but i have tried minoxidil before and it worked. problem was it caused my skin to turn a gray color. So I was excited to try a hair growth serum that would give me comparable results without the bad side effects. So far this product is not causing any pigment issues. It’s easy to use and I’m noticing some fuzz coming. in.
