Worth it.
I’ve been using the walnut scrub pads for years now and these are equally wonderful. Highly recommend. Durable, environmentally friendly. What’s not to love?

our favorite sponges
These are the only sponges we use to clean dishes! They work well and I like the materials better than the typical yellow/green sponges you find all over the place. They also are more appealing colors.

THE BEST SPONGES, PERIOD
These are the BEST sponges on the market. They are made of natural and biodegradable walnut shell, are gentle, but also tough. They last for weeks if not MONTHS if you keep them clean (and dry, this is key to keep sponges from getting really yucky) and during this time you can actually see them start to biodegrade, so when one starts to fall apart to where it’s not really usable anymore, you don’t fell bad about throwing it away bc it will finish breaking down and won’t just sit in a landfill basically forever like synthetic sponges will! This is awesome (and essential for the health of our planet) considering it is such common product we all will use many of during the course of a lifetime. Amazon has also now made them way more affordable so more people can buy them too, whoo hoo!!! Forget the green sponges and go green with these, instead.

Effective and durable
Whoever invented the first sponge with a scrubber surface made it easier to clean up everything around the sink. Except for one thing: the sponge itself. Many scrubbers trap grease. And the fibers they are made of “pill”. Depending on what you clean, they may last just a few hours or days. The walnut shell scrubber sponge is different. In my kitchen, it holds up longer than most scrubber sponges and it’s easier to clean between uses. (Your mileage may vary.)I noticed a less expensive competitor, the Natural Value Walnut Scrubber Sponge (Pack of 24). I haven’t tried it. It looks the same but the cleaning instructions differ. The Natural Value is sanitized by boiling. The Full Circle can (when wet and wrung out) be disinfected in the microwave (2 minutes on high) or (like any cellulose sponge) washed in a dishwasher.Beware: I don’t know whether someone with a tree nut allergy could suffer an adverse reaction to this sponge, or even to something that was cleaned with it, but I’ve read that both are possible.Probably because of the allergy risk, the similar and lower-cost 3m Scotch-Brite Natural Fiber Scrubbing Sponge 63C no longer contains nut products. I haven’t tried it.I took off one star because the instructions are not clear about disposal/compostability.

Best Ever
These scrubbies are fabulous! One was really put to the test when soup bubbled out of the pot and right down a ceramic coated wood burning stove.I was so afraid the finish on the hot stove would stain. I grabbed a scrubber and a rag, quickly working before the heat would burn the rag.If I used a conventional scrubbie, it would have melted on the stove.Next, another big test…sanitizing in the microwave. No problem! They even hold up to bleach solutions. For small jobs, I just cut them in half with a scissors.

My favorite natural product even though it doesnât last as long
This is my favorite ânaturalâ scrub comparing to the other ones I have tried. Itâs not too bulky when washing dishes. The only drawback is one sponge lasts me about 2-3 weeks only (I do lots of dishes on daily basis though), so itâs a bit pricy. BUT, this is a more natural material so I understand it may not be as durable as artificial ones

Scrubs well, lasts long, never smells
I bought a package of 2 in Apr 2019. They were white sponge side with brown scrubby side and I think they were $8+. I hesitated because they were expensive, but the reviews were great. Each of them lasted 3+ months. The two sides never came unglued and the sponge side never disintegrated. They scrubbed really well and never smelled bad/sour. I sanitized them in my Instant Pot or washed them with towels in the washing machine every few days.I was going to order 2 more, but I see that the reviews say they are now tan and brown and fall apart quickly
Another Review2 –
Abrasive, leave scratches and marks.
Both sides are much to abrasive for anything you donât want to have permanent scratch marks on. These sponges are for scrubbing tough items and not caring about the scratches left behind.

Recomendo.

Gritiga –
Very nice sponge and eco-friendly! It takes a bit of time to get use to it because it is different from the normal sponge but that’s not really a problem. It cleans nicely and doesn’t smell bad.
