Was skeptical, but stand impressed.
I have been taking these for about a month now. While I was skeptical to start, I am actually impressed. Though read on for a potential downside.First of all, Generally I let my beard grow until I get a pretty good scruff and then shave it. Recently I decided to grow a full, thick and long beard. So I know about how quickly it grows. By the time I’d usually have shaved, I had a about 1.5 times as much of a beard going as I would have generally. So it does speed up growth a bit. But more importantly, the beard is also a little thicker, the hair is a little more healthy feeling and has a bit more of a shine to it. So I am definitely impressed. I wouldn’t buy this expecting it to take you from babyfaced to ZZ Top in a month’s time, but it’s definitely going to speed things up a bit and most importantly give you a healthier beard. I can’t speak to how it works for those who have patchy growth, or who have a hard time getting anything to grow at all. I’ve never had trouble, this just further enhanced and sped up what I already had.One downside (for me) however is that it did seem to also speed up hair growth. As a person who likes to be bald, this is only a downside in that it’s more work for me. It also sped up the growth of my fingernails even more than it did the beard or the hair. All of this goes hand in hand, so it’s to be expected. Certainly not a knock against the product as the product does exactly what it’s supposed to!

I’ve been taking this product for about 3 1/2 weeks now and taken week by week pictures. The description says you won’t usually notice results until 4 weeks in, but I started noticing results within 2 weeks.My beard is coming in thicker and fuller than before, and much healthier. The same can easily be said about my skin and nails as well, though I primarily bought this product for my beard.I use this product in combination with a beard oil. It helps keep the itch away, and provides an overall uniform look to my beard, and keeps me smelling fresh to death. Keep in mind this is not a miracle pill, you need to be able to grow a beard already in order for it to work. That being said I would strongly recommend Smooth Viking to anyone whose considering taking beard vitamins.I will post pictures once I finish this bottle, and update my review.*EditI’ve used smooth viking for three course of 4 full weeks now and I’m very impressed. As promised, here are the week by week photos, starting with week 1.

Pubic Hair Found in Pill, Disgusted.
Discovered a couple pills had pubic hair in them, yes that’s right in the actual gel cap…I had been adding these to a shake in the morning, on my counter-top I noticed a black line at first, then I realized it was a hair… taking apart the pill, I found a long black public hair in the actual gel cap…What are the odds of a pubic hair being in your gel cap unless this was intentionally done by an employee? Completely disgusted. I will not order these again and I recommend people examine these before putting them in your mouth or using them, possible employee doing something nasty to the product?Maybe it’s time to do some quality control and or have your employees on camera while these pills are packed…

Works great but not going to magically make you a Wildman
It definitely jump started growth. I noticed it worked as I slept so getting a lot of rest was key. I noticed needing a hair cut faster than usual and my facial hair grew faster than it would naturally. It didn’t give me new hairs, I know this because I have a natural bald spot on my chin and it didn’t fix that but the hairs I was already ABLE to grow were slightly thicker and longer.I just don’t know how much growth is influenced by my genetics/body or Smooth Viking but I know it helps. Way over priced though to the point where I don’t think I’d pay that price again for this supplement. 20$ seems fair. Also it changes your urine color FYI.

Definitely satisfied, cheaper than other B-Complex vitamins.
I guess I’m always a bit suspicious that these vitamins actually have in them what they claim, but if they do, you’re not going to get a better deal on a B complex then this. I’m on month two, I haven’t had any breakouts that some have complained about, nor do I think that they smell worse than typical vitamins do (another common complaint). I had a pretty solid beard to begin with, I was really looking for a another good way to get my B’s in, and this is the way to do it for me right now. So does it work? Well, I’m finding that I need to cut my fingernails way more often than I did prior to taking it, so if you make the connection between hair and nails, there’s definitely success here. I’ll continue to purchase.

Results Not Worth The Smell/Taste…
I’ve been using these for a week or so now, and am noticing faster and fuller than normal beard growth, but it comes at a cost. These pills smell and taste absolutely terrible. It’s not just a “while you take it” deal, either, as I am routinely burping these up for at least an hour after ingesting. I tried Smooth Viking because another brand of Beard Growth/Biotin pills that I’d used before were out of stock for Prime shipping; needless to say, it’ll be a one-time purchase. The competing product was not only cheaper, but didn’t have the accompanying horrible smell and taste. Buy ’em if you must, but you’ve been warned…
